Five days after releasing in theaters, No Way Home has reportedly grossed over $500 billion worldwide! It’s safe to say that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s historic appearances as their respective Marvel characters in the Marvel movie made the film implode. Fans and critics alike are praising the film, with No Way Home sitting at a 95% Rotten Tomatoes score and A+ CinemaScore rating at the time of writing.

Nonetheless, the showstopping moment was seeing “Spider-Men” Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire come through Ned Leeds‘ (Jacob Batalon) portal. Now, fans are exploding with excitement over little hints that could bring back Garfield to the Marvel Universe:

What do you think about separate main co-running Spider-Mans at once? Tom’s Spidey focuses on the MCU, that big universe with other Marvel heroes and villains. Meanwhile, Andrew comes back as the Sony Spidey. He deals with the Venomverse, Morbius, Kraven, and introduces Miles.

Seeing Andrew Garfield pull off his iconic Spider-Man mask in No Way Home was nothing short of a miracle. What started as a massive fan theory years ago to become Marvel mania reality is still shocking fans, and many doubt anything can top that moment in Marvel Collection history.

You could see Garfield’s enigmatic energy. The actor loved being back in the superhero suit, and fans weren’t minding it one bit. Tears were running in the cinema when Garfield’s Peter Parker caught MJ Williams (Zendaya). He is finally redeemed.

Marvel exceeded everyone’s expectations and somehow avoided “fan service.” Rather than just putting in Maguire and Garfield’s respective characters for some cameos, director Jon Watts and crew set up a future for the two:

The Amazing Spider-Man 3 is about to become the next Snyder Cut. Sooo many of us want to see this happen.

At this point, anything is possible. Seeing Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man again is the dream of many, especially with The Amazing Spider-Man 3 being promised to release, but in the end, getting shelved in favor of Tom Holland’s Spidey reboot.

The MCU’s Spider-Man was a best-case scenario in terms of Avengers: Endgame (2019) crossovers, but now with Garfield officially coming back as Spider-Man fans are advocating that Sony Pictures give Garfield a new Marvel trilogy with villains like Venom, Morbius, and even Kraven the Hunter to go against:

There is NO way his story is done. He was talking about how he didn’t have many villains how he felt lame and how he didn’t feel complete. Sony is setting something HUGE up. I think Andrew is coming back.

Garfield’s Spider-Man made some remarks to Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland’s respective heroes before the final battle in No Way Home, expressing his disappointment that he didn’t fight enough villains and felt “lame.”

Maguire later expressed that Garfield’s Parker was “amazing” three times (coincidence?!), giving countless fans the idea and hopes that Sony is bringing back Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man in Morbius (2022), the upcoming “Venom-Verse” movie set within Sony’s respective Marvel Universe.

We’ll have to wait and see which Marvel Universe Morbius exists in. Given that Michael Keaton appears in the film. Still, a picture of Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man pops in the official trailer; there’s a world of opportunity for Morbius to bring back a classic Spidey actor to the big screen once and for all.
