Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are reportedly joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe alongside Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Spider-Man: No Way Home, but Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios didn’t show them in the official trailer for the upcoming Marvel movie.

The second trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) is here.

The trailer was reportedly delayed due to a dispute between Sony and The Walt Disney Company on showing previous Spider-Man actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Now that’s it’s here, every Marvel fan caught a glimpse of another Spider-Man in the trailer.

To many, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield made a childhood fantasy. Undoubtedly, most of the Marvel community hoped to get a glimpse of the previous “Spider-Men” in the second, highly anticipated No Way Home trailer.

Alas, there were only hints to Maguire and Andrew’s involvement in the upcoming Marvel Universe — not what many were hoping for.

Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man

Tobey Maguire’s last Marvel appearance was nearly 15 years ago, with Andrew Garfield previously starring in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) seven years ago. Now, the pair are coming together in one of Marvel’s biggest movies.

Seeing the two characters join the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the big screen will have a more significant impact on the Marvel Universe than Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
