Marvel fans have a lot to look forward to right now, with upcoming movies such as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022), Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023).

This week, Marvel Studios’ Eternals (2021) was finally released into theaters. The movie is different than anything Kevin Feige’s MCU has attempted before — it features the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first sex scene and first same-sex kiss, both of which have already garnered backlash from some viewers.

Now, Eternals characters have made their way to Avengers Campus at the Disneyland Resort in California.

Disney Parks Blog revealed that characters from Marvel’s Eternals are now appearing in Disney’s California Adventure:

At Disney California Adventure park at Disneyland Resort, Avengers Campus attracts heroes from across the universe … and even those who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. Starting TODAY, guests exploring at Avengers Campus may find themselves in the company of Eternals, experiencing a heroic encounter with the legendary Sersi, Kingo, or Phastos.

And Guests at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort can get a look at original costumes from the production of the MCU movie:

If you’re visiting Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World Resort this weekend, you’re in for a real treat. For a limited time, you can get a glimpse of scenes from “Eternals” for an in-park experience that also features a display of some of the original costumes used in the production of the film. How cool is that? At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it’s part of the Walt Disney Presents attraction, while guests at Disney California Adventure park can check it out at the Sunset Showcase Theater in Hollywood Land.

For Eternals star Kumail Nanjiani, the new character appearances at Avengers Campus at the Disneyland Resort are making him uncomfortable.

Nanjiani, who plays Kingo – an Eternal who can project cosmic energy projectiles from his hands – tweeted his response to his Disneyland counterpart. The actor stated that his theme park double shouldn’t be more handsome than him, jokingly worrying about Disney Park’s Kingo replacing him in the movie:

Uhhhh ok this feels super weird. Pretty sure my theme park double shouldn’t be more handsome than me. #Eternals is in theaters RIGHT NOW. Please go see it before they replace me with this guy in the movie. Fandango.com/Eternals

Nanjiani is the first Pakistani actor to be a part of the MCU. Nanjiani is known for his work on HBO’s Silicon Valley and his Academy-Award nominated writing of the true story The Big Sick (2017).

He recently revealed he felt “goofy” filming the Marvel Studios movie, using finger guns during production that ended up looking “pretty cool” once the final edit was done.

Eternals, directed by Academy Award-winner Chloé Zhao, is the 26th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the third film in Phase Four of the MCU’s release plan.

Nanjiani may think his Disney double is “more handsome” than he is, but he made headlines during the filming of Eternals, gaining considerable muscle mass in preparation for the role.
