Not everyone sees Spider-Man: No Way Home in the same light, as some Marvel fans are bombarding MCU stars and potential actors about if they appear in the Marvel movie. At the top of this list is previous Spider-Man Andrew Garfield actor Andrew Garfield and he’s done with the rumors.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) is the most anticipated Marvel Universe film since Avengers: Endgame (2019). For over a year, every Marvel fan speculates that previous “Spider-Men” Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are appearing alongside Tom Holland’s character.
Amidst numerous leaked images and photos, Garfield has been dodging rumors more than Spidey dodges Doc Ock’s blow. But, the actor has finally cracked under the bombardment:
“Listen, at this point i’m done. We’ll find out when the movie comes out. We’ll either be very disappointed or very happy”

Earlier this year, Tick, Tick… Boom! (2021) actor Andrew Garfield was asked by Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon on a “leaked” image of Andrew Garfield supposedly back in the Spider-Man costume on the set of No Way Home.
It’s no secret that the leaked images are parading through the internet, but the actor has been bombarded with questions and comments on these photos and videos in nearly every interview he’s been in this year.
Taking away from his current work, like Through the Eyes of Tammy Faye (2021), Andrew appeared on GQ’s “Actually Me” YouTube segment and finally confronted numerous Spider-Man rumors.
Garfield appears tired in the video, both physically and emotionally.
Undoubtedly, the actor is drained from the hounding of some superhero fans, sacrificing the privacy of the Avenger for a tidbit of information that they’ll eventually find out when No Way Home hits theaters in December.
In the video above, Garfield responds to a comment by YouTube user Felipe Galhardo left on Jimmy Fallon’s viral The Tonight Show clip with Andrew Garfield dodging the Spider-Man rumors.
Garfield acts with class and character, finally stating that he’s “done” with the rumors and can’t respond to them going forward.
The odds favor Garfield and Tobey Maguire starring in Marvel’s New York with Tom Holland.
Rather than bombing the internet back, Andrew Garfield is taking the high road and working his hardest not to spoil anything for Marvel fans.
More about Spider-Man: No Way Home
In No Way Home, Tom Holland (Peter Parker/Spider-Man) and Zendaya (MJ) are joined by Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Stephen Strange), Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan), Marisa Tomei (Aunt May), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds), and the villain with great power Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus.
The Marvel Universe is becoming much more than Marvel Characters/Earth’s Mightiest Heroes like Star-Lord/Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), and Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers (Brie Larson).
Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are set to appear in No Way Home. Seeing the two characters join the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the big screen will have a more significant impact on the Marvel Universe than Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
Tom Holland is leading the way for Marvel Cinematic Universe newcomers Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), Moon Knight (Oscar Isaac), Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn), She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany), Eternals’ Thena (Angelina Jolie), and more.
Shaking up the Marvel Collection in No Way Home is Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus, Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, Lizard (Rhys Ifans), Electro (Jaime Foxx), and Sandman (Thomas Haden Church). Nonetheless, fans know that Marvel is holding out on two key players: Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man.
With only one month until No Way Home hits theaters, fans are convinced that Marvel legends Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are joining the MCU for Tom Holland’s last dance as Spider-Man.
Every Marvel fan can watch Marvel’s New York explode with the Multiverse and witness great power from three Spider-Men on the big screen on December 17, 2021!
