According to the above report, fan anticipation for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier increased by 10% following the Super Bowl trailer. Most strikingly, it suggests that the series is far, far more anticipated than The Mandalorian.Â
For most Star Wars and Marvel Studios fans, this might come as a bit of a surprise. The Mandalorian has consistently been heralded as one of the most popular pieces of television on Disney+.
The series has enjoyed critical and commercial success following two phenomenal seasons, which concluded with Boba Fett and Luke Skywalker’s return. To see that the fan anticipation for the latest Marvel series is 200% higher than The Mandalorian is very interesting.

Marvel Studios has embraced the Disney+ platform
WandaVision has proven that Marvel Studios can rival Lucasfilm in terms of production quality in television. The Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany led series has been met with near-universal praise. Additionally, Marvel fans have taken to its weekly format; something inherited from The Mandalorian.
Come March 19th, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will also launch on Disney+. Marvel fans are anxiously awaiting the return of Bucky Barnes (The Winter Soldier) and Sam Wilson (Falcon) to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It has been quite some time since we saw them in Avengers: Endgame when they joined the final battle against Thanos.
The series stars Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan, reprising their iconic roles. Additionally, Daniel Brühl and Emily VanCamp will also return as Zemo and Sharon Carter. The series is thought to follow Sam’s transformation into the new Captain America. They’ll also have to face off against John F. Waker / US Agent (Wyatt Russell).
The show is an exciting step for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s no surprise fans are 200% more excited for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier than The Mandalorian.
