Oh man, how sweet was Season 2, Episode 6 of The Mandalorian? Boba Fett (Temeura Morrison) is back, people, and the Star Wars saga is all the better for it. And, you can bet the Boba Fett reaction videos have already started piling in.
The iconic character approaches Mando (Din Djarin, played by Pedro Pascal) in search of his father’s equally iconic Mandalorian armor during the middle of an imperial ambush, orchestrated by Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) to locate The Child (Baby Yoda).
What follows is a sensational action sequence that might be one of the greatest in the franchise’s history. A whole bunch of Star Wars fans clearly agree, as YouTuber Mixed Reactions has compiled some of the internet’s best reactions!

We love us some fan reaction videos. Remember when The Force Awakens’s first trailer released and people just went nuts? Well, that’s kind of how the Star Wars community is treating the return of Boba! The Mandalorian has continued to deliver perhaps the best Star Wars content in years, and doing fan service well is a big part of the appeal.
The return of Boba Fett is a perfect example. He’s not just there to look cool (looking at you, Darth Vader in Rogue One) or shoehorned in for easy nostalgia (REALLY looking at you, Palpatine, in Rise of Skywalker!). His return makes sense, it is respectful, and most of all; it’s just incredible. Look at these action scenes. Even without his armor, Boba is the real MVP! But when he gets it … wow. We’ve been waiting for years to see Boba in action, and The Mandalorian did not disappoint.
Let’s take a look at what these fans thought of Boba’s return!
Why is the return of Boba a big deal?
For many Star Wars fans, this comeback has been forty years in the making. For younger fans like me, it’s more like twenty. Yes, the nostalgia of Boba is incredible, but as many have pointed out, the bounty hunter didn’t do a whole lot in the original trilogy — he spoke only four lines, if that gives you any idea.
However, his father Jango Fett played a massive part in Episode II: Attack of the Clones, one of the Star Wars prequels that I grew up watching. Seeing Temuera Morrison (who also played all of the clone characters) return after all this time is an absolute delight.
As you’ll recall, Boba was initially slated to be getting a solo movie (as was Yoda) in the same way that Han Solo did. While many were gutted this didn’t happen at the time, Lucasfilm definitely didn’t disappoint with his triumphant return. The scene was just perfect, and seeing Boba Fett’s armor on screen was just magical.
We cannot wait to see what Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Co. have in store for him next. This season really keeps getting better and better!
