In The Mandalorian Season 2, Episode 5 (“Chapter 13: The Jedi”), bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his tiny charge, “Baby Yoda”, met Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) on the planet Corvus, after having been sent by Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff). While on the planet, Tano and Djarin discover that the villainous Grand Admiral Thrawn is still pulling strings in the Star Wars galaxy.

Both Tano and Kryze, of course, were first introduced as animated characters in Mandalorian executive producer Dave Filoni’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars. They then went on to have arcs in another Filoni animated series, Star Wars Rebels — the same series in which Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) was the antagonist.

Now, it seems that another member of the Star Wars Rebels Ghost ship crew — Sabine Wren — is primed to make her live-action debut in The Mandalorian spinoff series, Ahsoka. Fans, however, are not thrilled with the fact that Rebels voice actress Tiya Sircar is apparently not being considered for the live-action role of Wren.

Sircar noticed the fan support and took to Twitter to thank all of the Star Wars fans who are rallying for her to appear in the live-action Star Wars universe:
You guys are honestly the best. Just wanted to pop on here to tell you I’ve seen all of your sweet tweets and memes and hashtags and calls for petitions and man, y’all really know how to make a girl feel loved. Thanks, friends, LOVE YOU RIGHT BACK.

Andrew J also replied to Sircar’s Tweet, calling the fan reaction online a “storm”:
You know what’s funny. Like a day before this storm happened on Twitter (which I most definitely participated in talking you up)
I had the itch to rewatch Trials of the Darksaber.

Diana noted that Sackhoff was cast as Kryze in live-action, and believes that Sircar should have the same opportunity — though it is worth noting that Tano’s voice actress, Ashley Eckstein, does not play the former Jedi in The Mandalorian saga:
Tiya Sircar, who voiced Sabine on Rebels should get the opportunity to play her in live-action, just as Katee Sackhoff did with Bo.

A fan going by Nighttiger expressed similar sentiments:
So apparently for the Ahsoka series they’re trying to cast Sabine in live action. Tiya Sircar is right there bestie. I’d love to see her reprise the VA role like they did with Bo-Katan

At this time, neither Disney nor Lucasfilm has confirmed anything about the live-action Sabine Wren role, but fans clearly want Sircar — and, the actress certainly didn’t seem opposed in her own social media post.
