Here is everything you need to know about Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship that is bringing DCL into the future: The Disney Wish.
What will the new Disney Wish ship feature?
Disney’s newest ship to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet is the Disney Wish. The Wish is the first of a brand-new class of ships for the Disney Cruise Line called the Triton Class and will be bigger than the other existing ships in the fleet. In essence, the Disney Wish will feature a lot of space and new experiences for Disney Cruise Line fans.
Disney is referring to the Disney Wish as a “castle on the sea”, which reflects the castle icons found in each Magic Kingdom style Disney Park around the world.
The Disney Wish will feature new restaurants, the first-ever attraction at sea, and much much more!
The AquaMouse
The AquaMouse is the first-ever Disney attraction at sea! It will be found on the top deck on the Disney Wish, and feature over 700 feet of track. This impressive new attraction will be themed to the Mickey Mouse animated shorts much like Mickey’s Runaway Railway. Read more about the AquaMouse here.

Family Dining
The Disney Wish will debut with three brand new family restaurants! Here is what you can look forward to when it comes to one of the most important parts of your trip, the food!
Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure

Disney elaborated on this experience in a recent press release:
Throughout the meal, guests will enjoy live musical performances by these beloved characters and will even get the opportunity to join the festivities with fun table crafts, hilarious sing-alongs and a grand finale that’ll have everyone in the audience on their feet.
Designed in the style of a theater-in-the-round, this purpose-built entertainment venue will feature dining tables situated around a small center stage and all the theatrical bells and whistles needed to bring a story to life in 360-degree glory. Invisible fiber optics embedded in the ceiling will conjure Elsa’s icy magic, and panoramic windows will magically transform from real-time ocean views to the colorful dancing lights of the Aurora Borealis.

Worlds of Marvel
Disney is not only bringing Marvel to Disneyland in a big way with the addition of Avenger’s Campus at Disney California Adventure — Now Marvel fans can connect with their favorite Marvel characters while onboard the Disney Wish.
According to Disney World of Marvel will include:
True to its name, Worlds of Marvel will take families on a flavorful tour of the real and fictional settings of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with dishes inspired by legendary locales like African Wakanda, Eastern European Sokovia and the Avengers’ home base of New York City.
You will join Ant-Man, the Wasp, and plenty of other Marvel friends to defeat evil while you enjoy a meal. Here are more details on the Avengers: Quantum Encounter meal:
“Avengers: Quantum Encounter” will follow Ant-Man and The Wasp as they embark on their first public speaking engagement on behalf of the Avengers. They are hosting a special presentation of the most powerful Super Hero technologies — such as Captain America’s shield, Iron Man’s arc reactor and Ant-Man’s Pym Particles — giving the audience an up-close look at holographic models, field reports and iconic scenes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe displayed on the screens surrounding the room.
The highlight of this special event is a hands-on demonstration of the latest and greatest Pym Tech, the Quantum Core, which uses cutting-edge (and highly unstable) technology to shrink and grow targets at the push of a button. A few “misfires” will result in hilarious Ant-Man-style hijinks, but the real trouble begins when an unexpected villain shows up with a fearsome army in tow, eager to get their hands on this powerful quantum technology.
Food will grow before your eyes, and we are certain that this will be the most memorable meal during your voyage on the Disney Wish.
