Point Cost Revealed For Exclusive DVC Cruise on the Disney ‘Wish’

Disney Cruise Line will be adding a brand new ship to the fleet next summer! The new Disney Wish will set sail on its maiden voyage on June 9, 2022. The second sailing aboard the Disney Wish will be an exclusive cruise for Disney Vacation Club Members, and now we know how many points it will cost to enjoy this special sailing!

We know that sailing on the maiden voyage of the Disney Wish will cost you upwards of $5,000 — How many points will that equal for the Disney Vacation Club cruise?

Thanks to a report by DVCNews.com we can see that the Disney Vacation Club cruise will start at 175 DVC points for two people in an interior stateroom. That is a lot of points!

Want to stay in a two-story royal suite with a verandah and enjoy having access to the concierge level amenities during your stay? You would be looking at 1266 of your DVC points.

If you are interested in booking a cruise on the DVC sailing of the Disney Wish here is a bit more information you need to know. You can begin booking your cruise today, May 17, 2021.

Guests will be able to book the cruise in cash instead of DVC points, but you must have Membership Magic eligibility. Additionally, you will be able to book this sailing on the Disney Wish in cash today, May 17, 2021.

Many people had their travel plans altered in 2020 due to the pandemic, a fact that has seen many Disney Vacation Club Members enjoying a larger bank of points in 2021. Taking one of the first sailings on the Disney Wish is a perfect way to spend those excess points!

The Disney Wish will offer new experiences that have never before been seen on a Disney Cruise Line ship. You will enjoy a Frozen-themed dining experience, an adults-only Star Wars-themed bar called the Hyperspace Lounge, and the first Disney attraction at sea, the AquaMouse.

UPDATE: After the publication of this article, reports began surfacing on social media that the Disney Vacation Club sailing is fully booked.

Do not worry though, Disney did send out an email to DVC members letting them know that they will be able to book a cruise on the Disney Wish on May 25, meaning members will get a head start on booking a vacation over those who have to wait until May 27.
