Disney has recently released details on the Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship that is currently under construction, the Disney Wish. Disney surprised fans today, May the Fourth, with more details on the Star Wars-themed bar that will be aboard the Wish.
Here are all the new details you need to know about Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge.

Previously, we discussed the announcement of the first even Star Wars-themed bar on a Disney Cruise Ship when it was revealed last week. Now, Disney has given us even more details on the lounge which is called, Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge.
Disney revealed that Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge will offer tasting experiences and signature beverages that are inspired by the films! With that being said, it would not be surprising if Guests can find spiked blue milk (a treat that can be enjoyed at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at the Disney Parks) at Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge, but we will have to wait and see!
Disney continues on to say that:
The venue’s sleek interior design and metallic detailing is inspired by lavish star cruisers similar to Dryden Vos’ ship in “Solo: A Star Wars Story.” While you sip your galactic concoctions, this space-faring voyage will transport you to iconic locations from the eras of the Republic, Empire and First Order, employing hyperspace jumps to travel from planet to planet while sensational scenes unfold just beyond the ship’s panoramic viewport at each stop.
Ranging from serene vistas to action-packed encounters, the spectacles seen through this virtual “window” into the galaxy will feature famous space ships from the films and fan-favorite locales like Batuu, Tatooine, Mustafar and Coruscant. The experience will be amplified by surround-sound audio and a holotube that presents holographic models of nearby ships.
It appears that the window shown in the concept art will give Guests enjoying the Hyperspace Lounge more than just a lookout into space!
The announcement of surround-sound audio in conjunction with the “window into the galaxy” is exciting, and it shows just how immersive Disney will be making this experience. It certainly reminds us of Oga’s Cantina found at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in both Disney World and Disneyland. Perhaps it was the success of Oga’s Cantina that inspired the Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge.
Fans of Disney Cruise Line can expect a lot more “firsts” from the new ship, including a Frozen dining experience, and the first-ever Disney attraction at sea, the AquaMouse.
The Disney Wish begins sailing on June 9, 2022 and will enjoy 3 and 4-night cruises to the Bahamas and Castaway Cay from Port Canaveral. learn more about the itineraries of the Disney Wish here.
