When Netflix’s Daredevil series ended on October 19, 2018, many Marvel fans were disappointed. Over the course of three seasons, Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page, Elden Henson’s Foggy Nelson, and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin had become fan favorites.
Now, a new reported leaked No Way Home image has the MCU faithful convinced that Cox’s denial of his appearance in the upcoming Tom Holland Spider-Man trilogy conclusion is nothing more than the subterfuge for which Kevin Feige and his team have become famous.
Spider-Man NWH Updates and Leaks shared two supposedly leaked photos on Twitter, one featuring Holland alongside former “Spider-Men” Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield and the other showing Cox’s Matt Murdock at a table with Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) and Aunt May Parker (Marisa Tomei):
Apparently, New leaked photos of #SpiderManNoWayHome, Looks legit to me.
Twitter user MG is convinced the images are real, writing:
The Parker apartment furniture and decorations line up perfectly with what we saw in the trailer. It’s real. Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock is back

Alan, however, remains unconvinced that these new photos are legitimate — the skepticism is fair given the recent confirmation that a “leaked” Andrew Garfield No Way Home video was “made during lunch” by a VFX enthusiast:
The haircut from Tobey and Andrew looks recent, but Holland looks a little off. And the one with Charlie Cox looks a little too good to be true.

Some Marvel fans think Feige himself was behind the leak due to the poor reception Marvel’s Eternals, which hit theaters on November 5, 2021, has received so far:
(Kevin Feige takes one look at the box office for #TheEternals, low audience scores, and talk that Marvel’s run out of gas)
Kevin Feige: Tell John Campea [of The John Campea Show] to leak the photos of Spider-Man.

At this time, the validity of these images has not been confirmed by Marvel Studios or The Walt Disney Company, and any online speculation remains just that — speculative.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is due to hit theaters on December 17, 2021.
For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.
You can catch up on all three seasons of Netflix’s Daredevil, which is summarized as:
The first in a planned series of shows detailing the Marvel universe, “Daredevil” follows Matt Murdock, attorney by day and vigilante by night. Blinded in an accident as a child, Murdock uses his heightened senses as Daredevil to fight crime on the streets of New York after the sun goes down. While Murdock’s day job requires him to believe in the criminal justice system, his alter ego does not follow suit, leading him to take the law into his own hands to protect his Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood and the surrounding communities.
