Daredevil met critical acclaim on Netflix, as the Marvel series explored an unsung hero of Marvel’s New York and true crusader for justice with blind attorney Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox). However, the epic superhero series was cut short after only three seasons, and Marvel fans were left wondering when they’d see Daredevil again.

Rumors are boiling that Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock is possibly joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) to aid Peter Parker in legal trials against the murder of Quentin Beck/Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) and fight alongside Spider-Man against the Sinister Six.

In a one-on-one encounter with the Marvel actor at MCM Comic-Con, Cox reportedly hinted that his Matt Murdock character could be in No Way Home:

HOLY OMG. After Charlie Cox’s panel I met him 1 TO 1 and he signed my Daredevil x Spider-Man comic. I’m not even joking he literally hinted at him being in NWH to me. He saw my Spider-Man comic and said “We’ll see if I’m in that movie Eyes” and I said “NWH?” and HE SAID YES

Of course, take this account with a grain of salt, as there have been numerous reports of Marvel fans bumping into actors like Tobey Maguire and reportedly getting slight hints that they’ll be in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Cox’s response was not a confirmation, but it makes every Marvel fan wonder what he might have up his superhero sleeve.

Nonetheless, the encounter with Charlie Cox is undoubtedly impressive and reassures that Marvel fans are ready for more of Daredevil in the Marvel Universe. While Cox cannot state if he makes an appearance in the Marvel movie, a recent interview with Tom Holland makes it possible for Murdock to show up at some point in the film.

In the video above, Charlie Cox is asked once again if he’s making an appearance, albeit a cameo or much more significant part, in No Way Home. Of course, the Marvel star kindly danced around the question but stated, “The funny thing, you know, is that you can’t say anything.”

That statement is not a confirmation from the actor, but fans are betting Daredevil is joining the Marvel collection this December 17, 2021.

Never before has Marvel been so secretive about a movie, especially when releasing the full, official trailer. As a result, it fuels fan theories that previous Spider-Man actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe to fight against the Sinister Six.

Nonetheless, Marvel has something massive coming to the Marvel collection of iconic characters with the Multiverse. Spider-Man: No Way Home will directly impact the future of the MCU, including Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2021) and streaming series on Disney+.

The Marvel Universe is becoming much more than Marvel Characters/Earth’s Mightiest Heroes like Star-Lord/Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), and Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) — thanks to the Multiverse spurred by Loki.

Now, it seems that Daredevil could be joining the fun too!
