When it comes to visiting Walt Disney World Resort for its 50th anniversary celebration, many Guests are concerned about crowd levels in the Parks.
Although crowd levels had been quite low — with Guests even walking onto some of Disney World’s most popular rides and attractions — an increasing number of visitors have found their way to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom as the 50th anniversary’s official October 1, 2021 start date approaches.
One of the big reasons people are visiting Magic Kingdom this week is to say goodbye to the popular Happily Ever After fireworks show over Cinderella Castle. Disney confirmed that the nighttime spectacular will be permanently retired to make way for the special 50th anniversary fireworks show, Disney Enchantment.
If the jam-packed crowds on Main Street, U.S.A. this week are any indication, Guests can expect Enchantment to draw a huge number of people, which could make some Disney World visitors uncomfortable with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Fortunately, there is a special way you and your travel party can privately welcome Disney Enchantment with no crowds — a Walt Disney World Resort fireworks cruise on Seven Seas Lagoon!
The cruises, which are for up to 10 people, allow Guests to privately view the fireworks over Magic Kingdom theme park, all while the music for the show is pumped directly into your boat!
The view of Cinderella Castle is incredible and the experience is magical, whether you are celebrating a special occasion or just want to avoid the inevitable 50th anniversary crowds in the Park.
Specialty cruises must be booked through the Walt Disney World Resort recreation department at 407-WDW-PLAY (407-939-7529). The official webpage for these cruises reads:
