Credit: ITM Kelly C.In recent weeks, crowd levels at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida have been dwindling. In fact, heading into Labor Day weekend — a historically busy time at the Parks — crowds were shockingly low.

This trend has continued into the holiday itself, with wait times at Disney World’s theme parks this morning.
Instagram user Mary Avila Shears posted a photo of her family posing on a completely empty walkway by Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park. She wrote:
After postponing last year and delays this year we finally made it to Disney! So excited for this trip and thrilled my mom and sister could join us! Nothing like a good family vacation

Yana Cooper Photography also shared a castle photo from this morning, showing very few people milling around by the Magic Kingdom centerpiece. During busier times, Cinderella Castle is one of the most crowded spots in all of Walt Disney World Resort at any given time. Cooper captioned her photo simply:

Additionally, wait times at Disney World’s theme parks this morning prove that crowds are nearly non-existent, as Guests are practically walking onto some of the Resort’s most popular rides and attractions.
At the time of publication, Haunted Mansion had a surprisingly short 10-minute standby wait.

Fan-favorite Pirates of the Caribbean had an even shorter standby wait of just five minutes, which means Guests can more-or-less breeze through the queue.

Popular Frontierland roller coaster, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, also had a five-minute wait time this morning.

At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, wait times were also practically non-existent this morning, with Kilimanjaro Safaris — which often boasts waits of over an hour — with just a 10-minute standby time.

Guest-favorite ride, Expedition Everest – The Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, also had an extremely short wait on Labor Day, at just five minutes.
