If you love Grogu as much as, well, everyone else in America, you won’t want to miss this.
Thanks to a new Google augmented reality feature, you, too, can now see a 3D object of Grogu in your living room — or kitchen, or bedroom, or basically, anywhere else you choose!
If you want to experience this technology that will make you feel like you’re living in a Star Wars movie, simply download the Google app on your Apple iOS or Android device. It is available for free in the Apple App Store or the Play Store.
Then, to enjoy Grogu AR for yourself, search for “Grogu,” “The Child,” or “Baby Yoda” in the search bar.

Underneath the adorable character’s Wikipedia description, Google users will now see a box that features an image of Grogu accompanied by two options: “See the Child in your space” and “View in 3D.”
If you select “See the Child in your space,” you will be prompted to give Google camera access and will then be able to take all the Grogu photos you want anywhere in your home — this is so much fun, your whole family is sure to love it!
The AR technology is impressive — Grogu really looks like he’s standing right in front of you when you use the fun feature! This is a must-try for all Mandalorian fans.
If you would prefer to just look at the 3D rendering of Grogu on your smartphone or tablet, click “View in 3D’ and you will see the following depiction of Star Wars’ cutest character as a 3D model on your screen.

If only Google launched this feature before all the Christmas cards went out…
What’s next for Grogu and Din Djarin?
Now that The Mandalorian Season 2 is over — and can we just say, “Wow,” about that finale — we won’t spoil exactly what’s next for our band of unlikely heroes, but we will say we certainly haven’t seen the last of Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), bounty hunter Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison), Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen), Grogu, Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) and, in all likelihood, Cara Dune (Gina Carano) and Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff).
For now, we know that, among the latest addition to the Star Wars universe, are two Mandalorian spinoffs — Ahsoka and Rangers of the New Republic — will be airing on Disney+ in December 2021. Ahsoka will feature Dawson reprising her live-action portrayal of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels’ fan-favorite character, while details about Rangers of the New Republic have not yet been announced by Lucasfilm or Disney.
We know these series will be interconnected with Season 3 of The Mandalorian but do not yet know what role Din Djarin and his tiny Jedi foundling will play moving forward.
