Adult Disney Activities

Are you an adult Disney lover like me? Do you go to the Disney Parks alone just to soak up the Disney magic? It’s such a great place to unwind whether you’re there on your own or hanging out with friends and family.

But are you unable to get to the Disney Parks right now? Live too far or changing circumstances? Well, we’re here to save the day!  Here are some Disney park-inspired adult activities that can keep you occupied until your next trip.

Coffee

I don’t know about you, but I can’t start my day until there’s coffee in my system.  Early mornings in the Disney resorts really sets the tone for the day in a very positive vibe. There’s just something so happy about it. Though there is a Starbucks in every Disney park worldwide, there are some other coffee options as well, like Joffrey‘s. You can even purchase Disney Parks-inspired coffee blends online from Joffrey’s website. They recently released some coffee recipes to make at home too.

And when talk about coffee at Disney, we can’t forget about the mugs. Disney mugs are such a popular collectible item. Grab your favorite mug out of your cabinet or dress your coffee with a new one. You can always find fun mugs on shopDisney or next time you’re in the Disney parks.

Shopping

Which leads to my next activity, shopping! Who doesn’t need a little retail therapy sometimes? I mean, the magical kind is even better. Nothing puts a smile on the face like cute and cool Disney merchandise. As mentioned before, there’s shopDisney for great merchandise, but there are other online shops with cute and cool Disney merchandise.

Boxlunch is known for carrying the latest and greatest Disney Loungeflys, but that’s not all they’ve got. Target has the yummy Disney eats products and more. Walmart has affordable graphic tees, and etc. Don’t forget about your small shops. They always have fun creative spins on Disney inspiration.

Workout

Disney inspiration could come in all forms like their movie music. Disney music is so powerful and is awesome motivation for getting the happy hormones going in your body. Endorphins are the happy hormones in the body, and something other than exercise that gets the happy hormones going is Disney!

So, why not combine the two together! Have a Disney workout to Disney music. There’s quite a few Disney Zumba videos you can follow along to. If you’re more of the strength training type, you can try this easy at-home high intensity interval training paired with some fitting Disney music.

Food

Let’s be real here. We need to fuel the happy endorphins with, you guessed it, Disney snacks! Disney foodies out there, this one is for you. It doesn’t have to be just snacks either! You can do a full day of Disney recipes.

But Disney snacks are my favorite part of the parks. I’m talking about the churros, popcorn, tigger tails, ice cream, and cinnamon buns. Even give me the Grey Stuff! And you could taste the parks too with some of these fun recipes.

Plan Future Trip

And the best thing about being home dreaming about the Disney parks, planning your next trip!  Do you have a Disney bucket list? What does your perfect day look like? What rides do you want to go on? What parades are you waiting for? New food you want to try? You could totally watch POV videos of Disneyland or Disney World and experience VR of your favorite rides to hold you over, but you can start making your next trip a reality too.

As adults, part of going to the parks means money. So why not start a dream Disney budget plan! How can you start saving money for your next Disney parks trip, Annual Pass, Disney cruise, or vacation with Adventures by Disney. Is there a Disney something you’ve always wanted to do but never had the time to organize? Make it an intentional goal to get there!

Spa Day

Working, planning, and organizing means you need to relax too. Everyone needs some time for self care and pampering. It doesn’t mean you have to go out and spend tons of money because you can have a Disney spa day at home!

Play your favorite Disney movie and soak in a bath. Get artsy with your nails and pick a park or character inspiration. Cozy up in your best Disney comfies and enjoy some relaxation.

Alcoholic Beverages

Here’s the always fun life of the party: booze. There are places in the parks that you can get drinks like Oga’s Cantina in Galaxy’s Edge, Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom, Disney hotels, etc. Why not bring the atmospheres of those establishments in to your home? Adult Disney lovers tend to have a place they like to get drinks from at the parks.

Pick your place, decorate your home to its theme, and play the soundtrack. You can usually find sounds of that place on YouTube. Or you can have your own Wine and Food Festival at home! As for the booze, you can try to recreate your favorite Disney parks alcoholic beverages or create your own new ones inspired by the theme park or Disney characters.

Disney+

Now take your drink and some popcorn in your favorite popcorn bucket of course to the movie screening! Disney+ has stuff for all ages and interests. Say for example, Zootopia is an animated film that has hidden jokes that only adults would understand. The Mandalorian series is loved by all ages. I mean who doesn’t say “aww” to Baby Yoda. Documentaries like The Imagineering Story or Disney Insider might put some ages to sleep, but can share magic for us big kids.

Whatever you choose to do, Disney will always bring the kid in our hearts out. So enjoy the Disney magic inside the parks, on your vacation, and inside your home!
