It’s time to rock around the Christmas tree because the holiday season has arrived!

This year, ABC and Disney Channel are bringing the magic of Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line into the comfort of your own home thanks to three magical TV specials which feature several star-studded performances from your favorite stars.

During these Disney holiday specials, viewers will also get exclusive looks at some of the upcoming Disney Parks attractions!

The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration

Disney fans, mark those calendars because on Thursday, November 28 from 8 p.m. – 10 p.m. EST on ABC (and on the ABC app), Matthew Morrison and Emma Bunton, along with co-host Jesse Palmer, will present a two hour special from Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida and Sleeping Beauty’s Castle at Disneyland Resort.

On Thanksgiving night, tune into this magical celebration which will feature some of today’s top artists performing musical numbers as well as pure Disney holiday entertainment.

Viewers who tune in will also get a special treat as Disney Parks will bring you behind the scenes for special sneak peaks, including look at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, which opens in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on December 5, 2019 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida, and on January 17, 2020, at Disneyland Park in California.

Musical performances include the following: 

  • GRAMMY® Award-winning icons Sting and Shaggy who will perform both duets and solo numbers from Walt Disney World Resort, including a new festive reggae version of Silent Night (Christmas is Coming).
  • GRAMMY® Award-winning rock band Portugal. The Man will perform Happy Christmas and Merry Christmas Everybody from Disneyland Resort.
  • Three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning group Pentatonix will perform a cappella renditions of Deck the Halls and Here Comes Santa Claus from Walt Disney World Resort.
  • Singers Ingrid Michaelson and Andy Grammer will perform an all-new original holiday song from Disneyland Resort.
  • International pop star Ally Brooke, who is currently on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, will sing Santa Claus is Coming to Town from Walt Disney World Resort.
  • Singer-songwriter and TV host Emma Bunton (also known as ‘Baby Spice’), will perform the classic Santa Baby from Walt Disney World Resort.
  • The Tony, Emmy, and two-time Golden Globe -nominated artist Matthew Morrison will perform a medley from Walt Disney World Resort of When You Wish Upon A Star from the upcoming album Disney Dreamin’ with Matthew Morrison and the classic tune Let it Snow.
  • Acclaimed two-time Billboard-Award winning electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling will pull the strings for an unforgettable performance of Carol of the Bells from Walt Disney World Resort.

Disney Channel Holiday Party at Walt Disney World

Disney fans — Mark your calendars for Friday, December 13 to tune into Disney Channel Holiday Party at Walt Disney World. On both Disney Channel and the DisneyNOW app, Disney Channel’s ZOMBIES 2 stars Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim will host a holiday party from 8 p.m.-8:30 p.m. EST/PST.

Donnelly and Manheim will treat Disney fans to a magical holiday celebration featuring performances from Disney Channel stars Issac Ryan Brown (Raven’s Home), Ruby Rose Turner (Coop & Cami Ask the World), and Kylie Cantrall (Gabby Duran & The Unsittables) all from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida as well as aboard the majestic Disney Fantasy, one of the ships part of Disney Cruise Line.

During this Disney holiday special, Disney fans will get an exclusive first look at the upcoming attraction, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, which is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida in spring of 2020 and Disneyland Park in California some time in the future.

But that’s not all because viewers will also get a first look at the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie ZOMBIES 2, which will premiere on Disney Channel in 2020. BUNK’D stars Scarlett Estevez and Israel Johnson will also host a special family segment which will highlight the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots program.

  • Disney Channel’s ZOMBIES 2 star Meg Donnelly will sing Home for the Holidays from Walt Disney World Resort.

  • Disney Channel’s Gabby Duran & The Unsittables star Kylie Cantrall will perform Santa Claus is Coming to Town while aboard the Disney Fantasy.
  • Three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning Pentatonix will perform an a cappella rendition of Here Comes Santa Claus from Walt Disney World Resort.
  • Two-time GRAMMY® Award-winning reggae star Shaggy will perform Jamaican Drummer Boy from Walt Disney World Resort.

Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade

This is a family tradition of mine. Each morning we always tune into the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade, which will air this year on Wednesday, Dec. 25, from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. EST, 9-11 a.m. CST/MST/PST. (Airtimes vary so be sure to check listings, on ABC and on the ABC app.)

Disney’s annual Christmas celebration will air Christmas morning on ABC and will be hosted by artist Matthew Morrison, singer-songwriter and TV host Emma Bunton and TV host Jesse Palmer. Joining as co-hosts this year are ABC’s black-ish star Marsai Martin with Hollywood Records Artist and Disney’s The Lion King star JD McCrary, who voiced young Simba in the live-action film.

This Disney holiday special comes into the comfort of your own home from Cinderella’s Castle in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Sleeping Beauty’s Castle at Disneyland Resort in California. Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade features the Christmas Day Parade down Main Street U.S.A., as well as lovely heartwarming stories and magical celebrity performances.

Disney fans will be in for a special Christmas treat as Disney Parks will give viewers a sneak peek of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida in spring 2020 and Disneyland Park in California in the future, as well as Avengers Campus which is coming to Disney California Adventure Park in California in 2020.

Disney fans will also get a special look at “the most magical flight on earth” — The newly opened Disney Skyliner gondola system, which connects Walt Disney World Resort guests to two Disney theme parks to four different Disney resorts.

  • Three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning a cappella group Pentatonix will perform a special rendition of Santa Claus is Coming to Town from Walt Disney World Resort.
  • Singers Ingrid Michaelson and Grace VanderWaal will sing Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree from Disneyland Resort.
  • GRAMMY® Award-winning rock band Portugal. The Man will perform White Christmas and Feel it Still from Disneyland Resort.
  • International pop star Ally Brooke performs Christmas Through Your Eyes from Walt Disney World Resort.
  • The cast of the new Disney+ original High School Musical: The Musical: The Series will perform a high-energy medley from Disneyland Resort.
