An iconic Disney attraction left guests screaming for help after a concerning malfunction mid-ride, wondering what their next move would be.

Spanning over 25,000 acres and nestled in Orlando, Florida, Walt Disney World Resort and its four theme parks — Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disey’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom — are home to countless magical experiences for the young and the young at heart to enjoy during their visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Unfortunately, Disney World’s pristine image has been tainted by the ongoing legal and political battle between Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and The Walt Disney Company, which has heavily impacted theme park attendance at the Orlando Disney Resort, induced fear among members of the LGBTQIA+ community to visit the Sunshine State, harmed local businesses, and triggered a series of hateful demonstrations at the resort.

Additionally, Walt Disney World Resort faces a growing number of incidents triggered by unruly guest behavior. These incidents include guests sneaking prohibited items into the parks, causing violent brawls inside Disney propertyinappropriately exposing themselves in front of hundreds, shamelessly exhibiting suggestive behavior at the parks, and allowing their children to urinate on other parkgoers.

Guests visiting Disney World have also had their experiences at the park ruined by some of the resort’s most popular rides breaking down and suffering from malfunctions after hours of waiting in line. Some have even pointed out that their experience during these malfunctions has been “tortuous.”

Following this unfortunate trend, guests were recently ditched mid-ride at an iconic Disney attraction, leaving them screaming for help and considering their next move.

TikTok user @thegonzalezfamilyy_ recently posted a video showing a large group of guests stuck mid-ride aboard Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith in Disney’s Hollywood Studios as their vehicle had come to a complete stop and all the lights in the attraction had been turned on, revealing the thrilling track.

The original poster did not mention how long he and the group had been waiting before recording, but in the video, guests had started screaming for help, asking cast members to “put this thing on turbo.” Apparently, a Disney World cast member approached the group from the ground to inform them they would be evacuated down a set of stairs momentarily. Still, the poster did not share further information on the incident. You can see the video below or click here to watch it.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time a famous Disney ride has made guests have a less-than-magical experience. Inside the Magic reported on a guest’s “near death experience” aboard The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Walt Disney World Resort, which caused severe trauma for him.

Additionally, a family was recently “stuck in hell” during a terrifying malfunction at Disneyland Park that caused tears and screams. At Disneyland Paris, a family took to social media to demand Disney modify a popular attraction after they “feared for an assured death” while riding.

Hop into their gleaming limousine and speed off into the night as Aerosmith’s hard-rock harmonies fill the air. Buckle up before zooming through the city on this roller-coaster style attraction.

Rock This Way
Speed through iconic Hollywood landmarks. Maneuver past traffic jams and swoop into 3 thrilling inversions—2 rollover loops and one corkscrew—as the wind races across your face.
