I do not think you were actually there based on your article. It was raining ALL DAY … Also, you HAD to ride Spider-Man to go to the Campus area store… stuff sold out quick. Iron Man ride has a larger capacity than Spider-Man and you basically had to ride that first. So the line was really Spider-Man plus the 15mins to get on Iron Man. There was way too many people for a rainy day.. cast members were amazing. Maybe go be there in person and see how busy it is instead of looking at wait times in an app without any context to what is actually happening. PS both rides were amazing.
Why didn’t they turn the Hollywood Tower of Terror to the Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout like at DCA? What a missed opportunity! Or is it planned for a possible second phase?
Thank God they didn’t. Mission breakout is just another lazy, watered down, screen based, up ride. Just like flight force which was announced as an iron man coaster and is now just another let’s go to space and ride in the dark rollercoaster.
The important number here is the one on top that is conveniently cropped of. That’s the wait time to get into the new land at all.
So with a limited number of people in the land it’s obvious the attraction with the higher capacity has lower wait times.
The effective wait time would be the two hours for the land plus the 15mins at the attraction directly.
Fire Bob Paycheck! Avengers Campus is a cheap re-theme of a coaster that was already there. Basically they just added a gift shop and called it Avengers Campus haha!

More proof that people are tired of Disney rethemeing rides instead building new one.
If Disney wants more people in the parks, they need to build new rides that add to the value of the parks, not just a new gift shop or stage show.
