Today has been a wonderful day for Walt Disney World! In preparation for Disney World’s biggest birthday event, the Resort is planning to amaze Guests with a new cavalcade — and even brighten up Magic Kingdom’s Main St, U.S.A. with all-new projections and a nighttime show called Disney Enchantment! Even the characters are getting in on the fun, with new outfits and brand new interactive sculptures featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, and more!

It is important to remember that you need to have both a valid theme park ticket and a Disney Park Pass reservation for your Park of choice at Disney World right now. Currently, there are no more reservations available for for Magic Kingdom, although many Disney fans believe Disney will replenish October 1 once again as Walt Disney World’s 50th Celebration comes closer. This has not, however, been confirmed, but more reservations were previously added for select Parks.

After reviewing the calendar on Walt Disney World’s official website, here is what we know so far.

Park Passes Available October 1

As of now, the official Walt Disney World website shows Magic Kingdom is booked for Walt Disney World’s 50th for Theme Park Ticket Holders and Select Resort Guests. That leaves Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom up for grabs for these Park Pass reservation categories.

Annual Passholders

Currently, Annual Passholders have booked their park passes for all four Walt Disney World theme parks. Disney has replenished this date for Annual Passholders in the past. We can speculate that Disney will increase capacity as month’s progress, and hopefully will mean more Disney fans will be able to enjoy this grand celebration. Again, however, nothing has been confirmed.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Although Disney’s Animal Kingdom currently has some Park Pass availability on October 1, this might change soon. A new daytime show called Disney KiteTails will be debuting on October 1. It will feature some of our most beloved Disney animal friends! See more details here.

Our guess is that Park Passes will be gone soon with this highly anticipated new show in the works, so head over to the official Walt Disney World website to plan your next Disney’s Animal Kingdom adventure.

October 1 will also be a huge day for EPCOT. For those who are unaware, the France Pavilion in the World Showcase will officially open the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction on that day along with EPCOT’s newest nighttime spectacular, HarmonioUS. As we have been closely watching Disney Imagineers bring these barges to life this year, Disney dropped the news today that HarmonioUS will be ready on Disney World’s birthday!

Located on EPCOT’s World Showcase Lagoon, Guests will be enchanted with music, lights, barges, and stunning fireworks. If you’re planning on snagging a Park Pass for this Disney theme park, now is the time!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

We were surprised to see that Disney’s Hollywood Studios is still up for grabs since this has been one of Walt Disney World’s most packed theme parks since the phased reopening process began.

Although nothing has been announced as far as 50th celebrations go for this theme park, we are anticipating news regarding Fantasmic. Will this nighttime show return for the 50th milestone? We did recently share that Disney is working on the performance island, which could possibly mean that Fantasmic is on its way back to us and just in time for October 1! However, nothing has been confirmed about the show’s return.
