On October 1, 1971, Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World opened to the public, and before we knew it, it became one of the most popular vacation destinations around the world. And this October, the Most Magical Place on Earth will be celebrating 50 yEARS of magic!
We already know that “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” will begin its festivities on October 1, 2021 to commemorate exactly 50 years since Magic Kingdom first opened its gates in 1971. But now we are finding out even more information surrounding this milestone.
Last night, Disney Parks teased we would learn more about the upcoming celebration via Disney Parks Blog and Good Morning America, Tweeting:

And now, that time has come and as first announced on Good Morning America this morning, we now know even more information surrounding Disney World’s 50th anniversary — Including the fact that Magic Kingdom will have a brand-new nighttime spectacular!
Ginger Zee told GMA viewers that there will be two all-new nighttime spectaculars coming to Walt Disney World for the 50th anniversary. The first being HarmonioUS, the largest ever nighttime spectacular at EPCOT, which we previously knew about (However, now we have a debut date, which you can read more about here).
The second, however, is a brand-new show called Disney Enchantment and will debut on October 1 at Magic Kingdom!
Good Morning America also Tweeted out, showcasing a first-look at the new nighttime spectacular coming to Magic Kingdom:
