With all due respect, you obviously have no clue of the lore of Star Wars. Cody was always the with the Empire, even canonically he was moved to train Stormtroopers so that was most likely the reason it was scrapped. Because it wouldn’t make sense for him to appear in anything but a training area on Kamino. Also Boba Fett’s actor would never work, Boba Fett was never modified to age twice as fast like Cody and the other Fett’s would, he would look so much older or even dead at that point.
Commander Cody was moved to train the Stormtroopers in lore, he wouldn’t have made an appearance Rebels and make any sense. Also Cody and the other Fett clones were modified to age twice as fast unlike Boba Fett, he would be either dead or insanely old at the time of The Mandelorian so Fett’s actor would not work. Do you even read the lore?

That’s old legends lore. It’s no longer canon. We don’t know anything about canon Cody after Revenge of the Sith. Only a mention by Rex in Rebels.
