It is very annoying, and we had one that had their camera right in our faces, so we put our hand in front of our face and he complained that we ruined his shot. We told him he had no permission to film us. We had a whole host of teenages on Star tours holding their phones up to film, blocking our view of the screen and we very loudly told them to knock it off. They put their phones down.
It looks like a camera tripod, that’s being held up in front of the other guests. I don’t know why folks can’t enjoy the real moment instead of a tiny screen shot that will probably never be seen again. I would have notified the cast members and pointed them out if possible. Who knows you might have got to experience the attraction again, without the wait.
Truth — I may be one that annoys people on Haunted Mansion, but only because I recite and scream with the soundtrack. If I was allowed, I’d just do that over and over and skip the “real” ride (great for stress relief!). However I try to stick to the walls and warn people around me about my intention to scream so they are prepared.
