Hold onto your butts — Jurassic World 4 (2025), one of three upcoming Jurassic sequels, may have just unveiled its full cast list.

While details about the plot for the upcoming movie Jurassic World 4 remain under wraps (although rumors indicate that it will be set on an island again), casting announcements have dominated the news cycle since the film was first announced in January.

Following plenty of speculation, recent weeks have seen a number of Hollywood actors confirmed to be starring in the seventh installment in the long-running Jurassic Park franchise, which started in 1993 with Steven Spielberg’s iconic blockbuster.

So far, we know Jurassic World 4 will star Scarlett Johansson (the Marvel Cinematic Universe), Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton, Wicked), Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (The Lincoln Lawyer), and Rupert Friend (The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, Obi-Wan Kenobi).

However, a new report lists several other actors in addition to those confirmed and also reveals all the characters’ names. While this information has not been verified by Universal or any trusted news outlets, there are a couple of names that suggest there’s some truth to it.

The report was found on French media news website Cine Serie and comes via Jurassic Outpost. Check out their video which breaks down all the information from the report:

The extensive cast list includes Joel McHale (Ted), Whitney Able (Monsters), Lilly Collins (Emily in Paris, Tolkien), Oliver Jackson-Cohen (The Invisible Man), Daniel Zovatto (It Follows, Don’t Breathe), Richard Gadd (Baby Reindeer), and Tobin Bell (Saw).

While this information has not, and cannot be, verified, the inclusion of the name Whitney Able certainly lends some stock to the report. Able is best known for playing Sam Wynden in the hit indie sci-fi film Monsters (2010), which was directed by Gareth Edwards (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Godzilla 2014), who’s helming Jurassic World 4.

On the other hand, it’s bizarre to think Richard Gadd is involved. Gadd wrote, directed, and starred in the global Netflix sensation Baby Reindeer (2024). As he has only risen to fame in recent weeks, it’s possible he’s been picked up by Universal Pictures. Still, the involvement of such a new breakout star makes us think twice about the legitimacy of this report.

The report also lists all of the character names. Apparently, Scarlett Johansson plays Zora Valankova, Jonathan Bailey plays Lumis Howard, and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo plays Reuben Martinez. However, all of this information is best taken with a huge pinch of salt.

None of the actors from the previous Jurassic Park/Jurassic World films, such as Chris Pratt (Owen Grady), Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire Dearing), Sam Neill (Alan Grant), Laura Dern (Ellie Sattler), Jeff Goldblum (Ian Malcolm), BD Wong (Henry Wu), Isabella Sermon (Maisie Lockwood), and DeWanda Wise (Kayla Watts), are expected to reprise their roles.

However, Chris Pratt recently hinted to CBR.com that he may return for a cameo alongside fellow Marvel star Scarlett Johansson.

Jurassic World 4 does, however, reunite several creatives from previous movies. Jurassic Park (1993) and The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) scribe David Koepp is penning the new script, Jurassic World trilogy producers Patrick Cowley and Frank Marshall are back, and Steven Spielberg (director of the first two films) also returns as executive producer.

Jurassic World 4 follows Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III (2001), Jurassic World (2015), Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018), and Jurassic World Dominion (2022). While there’s no official synopsis (we don’t even know if it’s a sequel yet), rumors suggest that it’s called Jurassic City and involves “human-dino hybrids.”

The upcoming installment is expected to start filming this summer at Sky Studios Elstree in the United Kingdom, Malta Film Studios in Kalkara, Malta, and other worldwide locations.

It will be released in theaters on July 2, 2025.
