Baby Yoda cocktail is adorable and delicious
If you enjoyed season two of The Mandalorian, you’ve got to check out this incredible drink! Inspired by Grogu, otherwise known as Baby Yoda, this cocktail nails the character’s look. Here’s what the guys at Elysian had to say;
Inspired by the cocktail originally created by Michael Young of The Vault, Elysian has put its own spin on the Baby Yoda cocktail, which fittingly incorporates the brand’s most popular beer – Space Dust IPA – to take you to a galaxy far, far away.
.5oz Apple Pucker
.5 Lemon Juice
.75 Simple Syrup
Shake with ice and strain into coupe glass
Top off with Space Dust IPA
Attach lime wedges for the ears and blueberries for the eyes to a cocktail stick
Wrap glass step with napkin to create a robe-like appearance to complete the look
Make sure to top off your drink with the lime wedges and blueberries to get the distinctive Baby Yoda cuteness. Otherwise, it’s just a green cocktail!
Baby Yoda set the world on fire
Grogu AKA The Child AKA Baby Yoda was first introduced in The Mandalorian season one. The little green baby soon formed an adorable close relationship with Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and the internet fell in love.
Fans were gutted in the finale of season two to see Luke Skywalker take the child away from Din. However, his legacy has certainly lived on in the form of toys, plant pots, and tones of other merchandise.
The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Mark Hamill, and Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon. It also features Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Katee Sackhoff, and Temuera Morrison as the iconic Boba Fett. It’s a Disney+ exclusive.
Happy May the 4th, Star Wars fans! Enjoy this intergalactic cocktail with your friends and family, while watching your favorite movie or tv series from the Star Wars universe.
Star Wars found its adorable green mascot in Baby Yoda
We all need a little Baby Yoda in our lives! Jon Favreau and co have given every Star Wars fan an adorable bundle of cuteness to go nuts over, and this cocktail is proof! Season two of The Mandalorian re-introduced many fan favorites, including Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) and Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison). However, it was our little green friend who undoubtedly stole the show!
We can’t wait to see how Disney uses Baby Yoda next. Hopefully, they’ll take a page out of Marvel’s book and learn from Wanda and Vision‘s adventures. We know that the series has reaped the benefits of week-to-week episodes, much like Marvel’s shows. However, it will be interesting to see how the little Jedi, Mando, and the other characters begin to feed into a wider Star Wars universe.
It’ll certainly be interesting to see whether any of these fan favorites turn up in Star Wars: The Bad Batch. Episode one is out now, so check it out exclusively on Disney+!
