Another user, mkzucchero noted concern about the COVID-19 delta variant, posting, “Delta be like ‘I’m going to Disney World!!'”

It is worth noting that this crowd level has been the norm since fireworks returned to Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park — Guests typically begin lining Main Street, U.S.A. a couple of hours before showtime, even in the pouring rain!
Guests are not currently required to wear face masks outdoors at Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort as they are optional, regardless of vaccination status, so masks are not needed to watch nighttime spectaculars in an exterior area.
If, however, you choose to view fireworks from inside at either domestic Disney Park, you will need to wear an appropriate face covering, even if you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
