Russo Brothers Release Never-Before-Seen ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Photos

Believe it or not, it’s been two years since Marvel’s Infinity Saga ended with Avengers: Endgame (2019) and Marvel fans everywhere wept into their popcorn over the tragic loss of Iron Man/Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.).

Now, to celebrate two years of the record-breaking Marvel Studios production, the directors have taken to social media to share never-before-seen behind-the-scenes photos from the set.

The Russo Brothers posted a collection of images captioned, “2 years since the release of Endgame” to their official Twitter account.

Fans are loving the fresh look at their favorite Marvel super heroes, with many of the Russo Brothers’ followers leaving comments like this one by Abyss:

This movie came out a few months before I turned 18, Iron Man was released when I was 6… the MCU was my entire childhood and I thank each person involved in this film for giving it such a perfect ending

A user named Daniel shared:

You’ve guys created a spectacle that was worth over a decade crafting a very enormous impactful concluding final chapter of The Infinity Saga Of The Marvel Cinematic Universe from beginning to end. It’s a film that will be remembered for a long long time!

Now, as Marvel fans look forward to prequel film Black Widow finally releasing in July 2021 after numerous COVID-19 delays, Kevin Feige’s MCU can finally get back on track.

Until we see Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) back on the big screen, though, we can catch up on all things MCU on Disney+. The official description of Endgame on the streaming service reads:

The epic conclusion to the Infinity Saga that became a critically acclaimed worldwide phenomenon, this dramatic showdown pits the Avengers against Thanos. After devastating events wiped out half the world’s population and fractured their ranks, the remaining heroes struggle to move forward.

Upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe projects include the newly announced Captain America 4, presumably featuring Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson — not Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) — in the title role, Captain Marvel 2 starring Brie Larson as Carol Danvers and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and, of course, Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness with Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange and Elizabeth Olsen reprising as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch.
