Disneyland Resort recently announced the “Legacy Passholder” program, a new series of perks for former Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders. So, if you are a Disneyland Passholder (or rather, a former Disneyland Passholder) read on — you’re going to want to know about this news!

Last month, Disney canceled the Disneyland Resort Annual Passport program — and “new membership offerings” will soon take its place. In the meantime, all former Annual Passport holders are now known as Legacy Passholders.

Now, we are starting to find out more perks for Legacy Passholders. We already knew that Legacy Passholders get a special discount at the Downtown Disney District for the time being, something that those who have visited Downtown Disney and, by extension, Buena Vista Street inside Disney California Adventure have been able to take advantage of. And now, Disney has revealed more Legacy Passholder benefits for those former Annual Passholders. Keep reading to find out the deals you can take advantage of at Downtown Disney and the all-new event coming soon to DCA, A Touch of Disney.

Legacy Passholder Corner at Disney California Adventure

In honor of the new event at Disney California Adventure Park at Disneyland Resort — A Touch of Disney — there will be some exclusive benefits for Legacy Passholders. Here is what Disney shared online:

Calling all eligible Disneyland Resort Legacy Passholders! Purchase your tickets to A Touch of Disney, and you’ll enjoy access to a special Legacy Passholder Corner during the new experience, kicking off March 18, 2021.

Themed to the milestone 20th anniversary of Disney California Adventure Park, this dedicated space will be situated in Paradise Gardens and will be open from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM every day during A Touch of Disney.

Here’s a sneak peek at the goodies we’ll be dishing out (while supplies last):

  • Special Legacy Passholder-themed magnet
  • Special button featuring a unique design
  • A Disney California Adventure Park 20th Anniversary-themed photo opportunity

Plus, be sure to check out a historical timeline charting the evolution of Disney California Adventure Park that will be on display.

Eligible Passport and valid government-issued photo ID must be presented to enter the designated Legacy Passholder Corner area and to enjoy these offerings. Experience elements are subject to capacity, restrictions and change or cancellation without notice. Hours of operation may be changed due to inclement weather or otherwise.

Legacy Passholder Perks at Downtown Disney

Disney just announced that there are special benefits for Legacy Passholders at the Downtown Disney District throughout the month of March.

Disneyland Resort Legacy Passholders! Be sure to explore the special, limited-time discounts and offers available for you from March 1 to 31, 2021 at the Disney Downtown District.

  • Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes
    Ask about the Classic Orange Creamsicle Shake, a delicious, “off-menu” item made with vanilla ice cream, orange juice, and vanilla syrup and topped with whipped cream, orange and white sprinkles, and a cherry. It’s only available for Legacy Passholders and will cost $10 plus tax.
  • Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs
    Get a complimentary beverage with the purchase of a corn dog Mondays through Fridays.
  • California Churro
    Buy one churro, get one churro of equal or lesser value 50% off Mondays through Fridays.

    Throughout the month of March, Legacy Passholders get $2 off a medium or large Electric Berry Lemonade smoothie.

WandaVision Photo Spot

Legacy Passholders will get early access to a new WandaVision photo opportunity inside Disney California Adventure Park. This new photo opportunity is certainly something that should get Marvel fans (and those who had an Annual Pass to Disneyland) excited. Not only is it in a special area of Disney California Adventure near the Backlot Premiere Shop, but also it is one of many Marvel experiences to come to DCA — as we know, Avengers Campus is set to open in 2021!

The Legacy Passholder webpage on the Disneyland Resort official website has been updated with the following information about this WandaVision photo experience:

Fans located near the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort will want to head on over to Buena Vista Street starting this weekend on Feb. 6 for a retro “WandaVision”-inspired photo op located near the Disneyland Resort Backlot Premiere Shop! For a limited time, step back in time and take a photo in a living room straight from the golden age of television! And on Feb. 5, Legacy Passholders can be among the first to access this retro WandaVision-inspired photo opportunity. Legacy Passholders must present their eligible Passports and photo ID may be required. The opportunity will be limited to eligible Legacy Passholders only (no guests) and will be subject to availability, capacity and change or cancellation without notice.

Note that it is currently unclear exactly where this new photo spot will be located, but we will share more information as it becomes available. All we know right now is that Guests have to enter Buena Vista Street and head toward the Backlot Premiere Shop to find this photo spot.

Star Wars Trading Post

Disney Parks Blog also announced today that the Star Wars Trading post is opening in just a couple of weeks on February 19. With the opening of this new merchandise location comes more benefits for Legacy Passholders. One of those benefits is an exclusive preview event of the new Star Wars Trading Post exclusive to Legacy Passholders:

Star Wars Trading Post will open in its new location in the Downtown Disney District on February 19, 2021 and becomes your go-to place for all things Star Wars. The design is inspired by a hidden jungle Resistance base and the merchandise offers something for every traveler on their galactic journey. The opening assortment will feature merchandise straight from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge along with classic Star Wars and The Mandalorian, with apparel, accessories, souvenirs, creatures, droids and more. Also, If you’re a Legacy Passholder, reservations are NOW AVAILABLE for the Star Wars Trading Post Legacy Passholder Preview. Legacy Passholders may bring one Guest with them. Limited reservations are available from February 16 – February 18. View important details and make reservations now!
