Disneyland Paris Shares Inside Look at Safety Protocols

Disneyland Paris had to temporarily close due to the current global pandemic months ago, but we recently reported that Disneyland Paris is gearing up to reopen its gates as they have officially announced a reopening date of July 15!

Disneyland Paris has been prepping for reopening for quite some time now. In fact, back in May, Disneyland Paris executives, CEO Natacha Rafalski, COO Daniel Delcourt, and VP of Parks Operations Marco Bernini, were all seen on property as they were guided through the theme park as they discussed potential reopening procedures and protocols.

But now, Disneyland Paris tweeted out photos showing how they are implementing social distancing measures and safety protocols throughout the parks.

The tweet, which includes four photos, reads “The health and safety of our guests and Cast Members is our top priority. If you wish to be informed about the safety measures in place in our destination at the reopening, please click on the following link: bit.ly/2YLYyqF.”

On Monday, May 11, Shanghai Disneyland reopened its gates to its guests at limited capacity. The theme park is in close contact with the local government and is following health protocols to ensure the safety of guests and Cast Members. These protocols include temperature screening tentssocial distancing measures, and other protocols.

Disney Springs in Walt Disney World also initiated a phased reopening on May 20 while Walt Disney World Resort will open up their theme parks to guests beginning this month — Magic Kingdom park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will reopen on July 11 with EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios reopening days later on July 15.

Disneyland Resort recently submitted its plans to officially reopen their theme parks just in time for Disneyland park’s 65th anniversary, however, they then made the decision to delay their reopening for its theme parks — Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure — along with the Disneyland Resort hotels.

Hong Kong Disneyland is the latest Disney park to announce its reopening date, which took place on June 18.
