The Disney Parks — Filled with magic, memories, and must try Disney snacks!
Both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort are, of course, known for the unique attractions, one-of-a-kind entertainment, attention to detail, but one of the things I look forward to most on my next Disney vacation is the food!
From Mickey pretzels to salty popcorn to ice cream, the Disney Parks are filled with plenty of options, guaranteed to satisfy every taste bud. Let’s take a look at some of the must try Disney snacks while you are vacationing in the theme parks.
Mickey Ice Cream Bar
The Mickey Ice Cream Bar is certainly a classic. Whether you have tried this treat in the past or you are a first-timer, you have to get this vanilla ice cream bar coated in milk chocolate (shaped like the one and only, Mickey Mouse), the next time you are in the theme park.
These are offered in Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Mickey Pretzel
One of my personal favorite snacks — A warm, soft, and salty Mickey pretzel is a must-have every single trip. Try pairing it with warm cheese and you’ll have the perfect mid-afternoon snack while exploring the theme park.
These are offered in Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Popcorn
Whenever I visited the Disney Parks, I probably have about 10 containers of salty popcorn throughout my Disney vacation (It’s just so addicting!) Classic popcorn is offered in Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Over at EPCOT, Disney guests can try both classic popcorn or special flavored popcorn including cheddar cheese, buffalo bleu cheese, or sour cream and chive popcorn.
And if you are a popcorn addict, like me, try getting a Disney popcorn souvenir bucket. These give you a discount on refills (and make for a great souvenir to bring back home with you!)
Dole Whip
The classic Pineapple Dole Whip is what started it all, (which is also another one of my favorite snacks), but now Disney guests can choose from a wide variety of Dole Whip flavors including orange, raspberry, lemon, mango, and more!
These are typically offered in Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.
Peter Pan Float
This is a different version of the Dole Whip — This time, made with Lime flavored Dole Whip and made to resemble Peter Pan. You can grab this version in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom.
Turkey Leg
Disney’s jumbo turkey legs are still, to this day, one of the most popular Disney snacks. On your next Disney vacation, be sure to stop and pick one of these up (But be prepared to share. They are gigantic!)
Caramel and Chocolate Pineapple
Head over to Karamell-Küche in the Germany Pavilion in EPCOT for this one.
Cinnamon Roll
Check out this treat — One of my favorite cinnamon rolls in the theme parks is in Magic Kingdom at Gaston’s Tavern. Be sure to pick one up the next time you’re at Walt Disney World!
Lefou’s Brew
Also at Gaston’s Tavern is the famous Lefou’s Brew! This delicious and refreshing Disney drink consists of no-sugar added frozen apple juice with a hint of toasted marshmallow, topped with all-natural passion fruit-mango foam.
Parfait Aux Fruits
One of my all time favorites is this delicious parfait from EPCOT. It consists of a delicious cream with various berries.
Disney Cupcakes
There is a wide variety of Disney cupcakes located all throughout the theme parks. From classic chocolate to peanut butter, these sweet treats are a must-try the next time you visit Walt Disney World.
And if you are looking for more information on Disney cupcakes, check out our Disney Parks Cupcake Crawl Guide here.
Funnel Cake
If you are looking to satisfy your sweet tooth, then you have to get your hands on this sweet treat. The classic funnel cake can be topped with your choice of powdered sugar, chocolate syrup, vanilla ice cream and other delicious options!
Disney guests visiting Epcot can also opt for a cookies ‘n cream funnel cake.
Churros
Who doesn’t love churros? This delicious sweet treat can be found at various churro carts located all throughout the Disney Parks.
Waffle Sandwich
Head on over to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World and check out Sleepy Hollow. Here, Disney guests can choose between a Nutella Fruit Waffle Sandwich or a Sweet and Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich.
Norweigan Schoolbread
This sweet roll is filled with yellow icing and topped with toasted coconut.
Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich
You can find this at L’Artisan des Glace in the France pavilion at EPCOT.
Churro Ice Cream Sandwich
A combination of two classics — Churros and ice cream!
Berry Cream Puff
You can find this treat at EPCOT in the France Pavilion.
Cheshire Cat Tail
This flakey pastry filled with chocolate and covered in pink and purple icing is available in Magic Kingdom.
Cinnamon Loaf
Head on over to EPCOT to try this must try snack.
Corn Dog
So the corn dog is a bit more of a meal than a snack, but I had to include it on this list as the corn dog is such a classic.
Disney Dining Plan
There are a few different options for the Disney Dining Plan, which include the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, the Disney Dining Plan, the Disney Dining Plan Plus, and the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan.
If you are on one of these Disney Dining Plans, you can use a snack credit to pay for one of these delicious Disney snacks while visiting the parks!
