This article has been updated for the most accurate information (March 3, 2020):

This new Dining Plan Plus option has only been available for a few days now and it is already leaving a mark on Disney fans everywhere. In fact, Disney Parks Mom Panelist, Thiana, explained how this new Disney dining plan option came at a perfect time. She has a Disney vacation coming up and told Disney Parks Blog:

“We love Table-Service restaurants, but always felt like the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan was too much food for us, so with that said, the Disney Dining plan has always been our choice. We really enjoy sitting down and eating at restaurants, it’s a great way to take a break and relax. Yes, we are the family that loves a quiet meal! We also usually use snack credits for breakfast, so this plan is absolutely perfect for my family!”

What’s so great about this new Dining Plan options if the flexibility! The new plan gives Disney guests two meals per night of their package stay in which they can then redeem at either Table-Service restaurants, Quick-Service locations, character dining experiences, or a combination!

Sarah, another Disney Parks Mom Panelist, stated:

“Disney Dining Plan Plus will allow my family to have a Character meal for breakfast that will keep us full until a table-service dinner. It will also be an excellent option for my family as it would not only reduce the amount we spend out of pocket, we typically do buy an extra meal with our current dining plan option, but give us more uninterrupted park time since we won’t have to stop for lunch. I can’t wait to try it out on an upcoming long weekend trip!”
