If you’re planning a trip to Walt Disney World in 2020, you may want to brace yourself. Disney just revealed a price increase on each of the Dining Plans for 2020 vacations, and if you’re planning on purchasing a Dining Plan, you may be paying more than you anticipated.
After taking a look at the official Disney website, we found that the cost increase per person, per night isn’t that much. However, considering Disney increased the price in Dining Plans in 2017 for 2018 vacations to include specialty drinks and alcoholic beverages for those 21 years or older, it doesn’t seem as though guests are getting anything more with the Dining Plan than they do already. Either way, price increases are a common annual practice for Disney, so it’s important to keep them in mind when planning your vacation. According to the new pricing model for 2020 Disney Dining Plans, the cost per person, per night for each Dining Plan is as follows:
Quick Service Disney Dining Plan
- Adult: $55.00 per person, per night (increase of $2.50 from $52.50 in 2019)
- Child: $26.00 per person, per night (increase of $2.22 from $23.78 in 2019)
What’s included?
As it is written on the Walt Disney World website, the Quick Service Disney Dining Plan includes the following:
- 2 quick service meals per person, per night
- 2 snacks per person, per night
- 1 drink mug per person, refillable at any quick service restaurant at your Disney Resort hotel
- Beverages that are part of meal entitlements include non-alcoholic specialty beverages and, for Guests 21 and older, alcoholic beverages
Disney Dining Plan
- Adult: $78.01 per person, per night (increase of $2.53 from $75.49 in 2019)
- Child: $30.51 per person, per night (increase of $2.53 from $27.98 in 2019)
