Walt Disney World has just seen the rise in the prices of its Annual Passes and it seems the resort wasn’t through there. The overnight parking fee found at the Walt Disney World resorts has also been increased as well, taking effect today.
According to the Disney website, the fee for standard overnight self-parking available to registered hotel guests has been increased and the change will be reflected in all reservations made June 18, 2019, and thereafter for arrivals in 2019 and 2020.
Disney released the following chart explaining the price change:
For reservations made before June 18, 2019 for arrivals in 2019 or 2020:
- Disney Value Resorts: $13 per night
- Disney Moderate Resorts: $19 per night
- Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts: $24 per night
For reservations made June 18, 2019 and thereafter for arrivals in 2020:
- Disney Value Resorts: $15 per night
- Disney Moderate Resorts: $20 per night
- Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts: $25 per night
Note: The fee is applied to the guest’s hotel folio upon check-out. All parking fees include applicable tax.
Complimentary standard parking will remain available to guests staying at the Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Each campsite provides parking space for one (1) motorized vehicle.
Valet Parking, available at select Disney Deluxe Resorts and Disney Deluxe Villas, remains at the same price of $33 per night (sales tax included).
Walt Disney World only announced these parking fees at their resort hotels in March of last year.
Disney Value Resorts saw the largest increase at $2 per night while Disney Moderate, Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts saw an increase of $1 per night.
The overnight parking price increase could be on account of the high visitation the resort is expected to experience at the end of August with the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
