What exactly is Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure?

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will be a trackless 4D dark ride attraction, which is based on the 2007 Disney Pixar animated film, Ratatouille. For the upcoming Ratatouille ride, Walt Disney Imagineering has partnered with Pixar to make sure what the Disney Imagineers are building is staying true to the story and staying true to the overall idea.

The new Disney Park ride will shrink down riders to the size of a rat who will then have to scurry along with Chef Remy through Gusteau’s Restaurant in an adorable rat-shaped ride vehicle.

Disney Parks Blog shared:

Based on Disney and Pixar’s hit film, “Ratatouille,” this family-friendly attraction will invite you to shrink down to the scale of a rat for a culinary adventure with Chef Remy.

You’ll race across Gusteau’s kitchen floor aboard special trackless ride vehicles, which you can see in the image at the top of this post – just released today – as Disney Imagineers work on bringing this attraction to life.

There is currently another Disney theme park attraction titled Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy, which opened in Disneyland Paris a few years ago. The new Disney World attraction is expected to be a close replica of the Disneyland Paris attraction.

Disney Parks Blog also shared:

In this delicious new attraction, you’ll feel like you’ve shrunk to the size of Chef Remy as you scurry through Gusteau’s famous restaurant on a wild adventure for the whole family (no height requirement!). Based on Disney and Pixar’s Academy Award-winning “Ratatouille,” the experience will be part of a newly expanded France pavilion inside EPCOT that will also open Oct. 1.

When you round the corner into this new portion of the pavilion, you’ll be transported into a fanciful version of Paris that feels straight out of the animated film. As you can see in this beautiful nighttime photo we’re sharing today, it’s easy to understand why little Remy fell so head-over-heels in love with the “city of lights.”
