A family recently “got jumped” at a Six Flags theme park, sharing the infuriating video of the assault online.
Six Flags recently made nationwide headlines following a billion-dollar merger with Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, making it the most prominent theme park operator in North America with an impressive portfolio of 42 locations, including amusement parks and water parks.
This merger has introduced new policies and measures at Six Flags-owned theme parks, which have sparked debate online.
Sadly, these measures could not prevent a violent incident at Six Flags New England, in which a family was “jumped,” sending a guest to the emergency room.

Redditor u/Organic-Chain6118 shared the infuriating video of the incident, in which he can be seen on the ground while multiple adults beat him and kick him before walking away.
The Redditor explained: “A bunch of them cut the line and I looked their way. One of them didn’t like how I looked at him and he got in my face. I didn’t back down, so he called his brother with face tatts. We went in front of them and a woman slapped my wife twice and I went to report them and got sucker punched and jumped.”
Viewers were outraged by the scene, but their aggressive responses caused the removal of the user’s original post. In it, he explained that he had to be rushed to the emergency room and shared his disappointment after finding out that no attorney would take his case.
Regardless, u/Organic-Chain6118 posted the video again.

While Six Flags is not responsible for guest’s behavior, several viewers slammed the company for being unresponsive to the incident. Redditor u/MasterBathingBear commented: “They would not be liable for the fight starting, but security’s slow response could make Six Flags culpable for understaffing to the point of creating a dangerous environment.”
The affected guest commented, “A police report was filed but they dipped before anyone showed up.” He added, “All they did was say they saw them leaving the park,” referring to Six Flags personnel.
The Redditor mentioned that he had several injuries and that he would continue to pursue the attackers.

The company’s website states that “Six Flags is a family park” and expects guests to behave accordingly. “Unruly, disruptive or offensive behavior, including line-jumping and profanity, is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated,” the website adds.
Six Flags states that violating theme park policies “may be cause for ejection from the park without refund.” Unfortunately, the guest implied that theme park officials took no action regarding the assault.

Line-cutting is a divisive practice that plagues theme parks nationwide. However, reported incidents had rarely escalated as violently as this assault.
Unfortunately, a decline in guest behavior at theme parks in the United States has triggered severe actions at multiple locations nationwide.
Fun Spot America, a popular theme park in the Orlando area, recently implemented a chaperone policy, restricting theme park access to unaccompanied minors.

Multiple theme parks formerly owned and operated by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company — now Six Flags Entertainment Corporation — have enforced chaperone policies since 2022. Some locations that continue to implement these strict measures are Knott’s Berry Farm, Carowinds, Worlds of Fun, Kings Island, and Kings Dominion.
Other Six Flags locations have not announced plans to enforce a chaperone policy. However, considering that all guests involved in this violent assault were adults, implementing these measures would not result in an improvement in guest behavior.
