A woman recently voiced her frustration after being wrongfully banned at a popular theme park, “Which I think is ridiculous.”
There’s nothing more exciting than going on the fastest, tallest roller coasters at your favorite theme park this summer. Especially considering that theme park companies in the United States like Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, Universal Destinations & Experiences, and The Walt Disney Company prioritize the health and safety of all guests and employees.
Unfortunately, despite preventive measures at these theme parks, unruly guest behavior can result in tragic accidents. Such was the case for a man whose negligence resulted in fatal injuries and his eventual death after being struck by Banshee, a roller coaster at Kings Island.

Days after the tragic accident that resulted in the death of 38-year-old Arntanaro Nelson, a woman is accusing Kings Island of wrongfully turning her away from multiple attractions at the Mason theme park.
Redditor u/Empty-Jury4036 recently shared her frustration on the social network. She said she had been banned from riding Diamondback, Orion, Drop Tower, Banshee, and Flight of Fear due to her size, claiming she’s 6′ 2″.
The frustrated Redditor claimed these measures were “ridiculous” because she sees “all these old guys with huge bellies get off all these rides, but half of them I can’t ride because of my height.”
Peyton shared a picture of herself “for reference,” adding that she wasn’t “like a huge girl.”

The woman shared that she has tried to ride some of these attractions multiple times but has been removed by Kings Island ride operators.
“If I scooted down, it snapped,” said Peyton after testing her luck on Banshee. She added, “But the worker told me I had to sit up straight, and when I did, it wouldn’t close because it couldn’t go down all the way because of my shoulders. It just pisses me off.”

Fellow Redditors shared opposing experiences, with several commenting they are about the same height and have never had problems riding roller coasters at Kings Island, which confused the original poster.
While all high and aggressive thrill level rides and attractions at Kings Island have a minimum height requirement, only Banshee and Drop Tower (from the rides the original poster mentioned) have a maximum height, set at 78″ and 80″ respectively.

The reason why the Redditor was turned away from these attractions is unclear. However, it is essential to mention that every guest is different, and some may not be able to ride intense attractions at Kings Island.
However, all guests must be aware that, like all Six Flags Entertainment Company-owned locations, the Ohio amusement park enforces these strict measures, prioritizing the safety of guests and employees.
Kings Island, like Cedar Point, Worlds of Fun, and Knott’s Berry Farm, to name a few, are now operating under Six Flags following a billion-dollar merger between the Cedar Fair Entertainment Company and Six Flags.
