A beloved Southern California theme park is treating select guests with a limited-time free benefit. Will you be among the lucky ones?
While Knott’s Berry Farm recently celebrated the grand opening of the reimagined Camp Snoopy, the theme park has polarized its fans with disappointing announcements, axing and replacing beloved attractions.
However, the theme park, now owned and operated by Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, is giving back to guests, offering a free benefit for a select demographic.

Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, and with National Fried Chicken Day upon us, Knott’s is celebrating with limited-time special offerings.
The most peculiar perk is a complimentary Chicken Dinner Entrée for “anyone 90 years old” who can present a valid ID with their date of birth. Knott’s announcement does not clarify whether the free perk applies exclusively to guests who are exactly 90 years old or anyone 90 years and older.
Either way, senior guests can enjoy a delicious meal with their family to celebrate Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant’s 90th anniversary.

Other limited-time specials include collectible menus that pay tribute to the restaurant’s history, a can of boysenberries for each party that orders a Chicken Dinner, and a prize voucher for guests dining at the restaurant throughout the day (limited to one per party). These offerings are available while supplies last.
Guests can also take photos at a Knott’s Berry Farm roadside berry stand photo-op and purchase a collectible Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant 90th Anniversary t-shirt at Virginia’s Gift Shop.

Knott’s Berry Farm is the perfect destination for all families this summer, remarkably since Knott’s Soak City, the 15-acre water park located steps away from the iconic Southern California theme park, resumed operations in May and will remain open on select days through September 8, 2024.

Of course, the Southern California theme park is home to several seasonal events to add to the fun, including Summer At Knott’s, Ghost Town Alive!, Knott’s Summer Nights, Knott’s Scary Farm, Knott’s Spooky Farm, Knott’s Merry Farm, and the beloved Knott’s Boysenberry Festival.

Despite common belief, Knott’s Berry Farm and Disneyland Resort, located minutes away from each other, had no rivalry before becoming two of Southern California’s most important theme parks and perhaps the entire United States.
On the contrary, Walt Disney and Walter Marvin Knott inspired each other to develop their theme parks in Anaheim and Buena Park, California, respectively, with both visionaries having an extremely close relationship.
