Jon Watts returns this year with the third solo outing for the famous Marvel web-slinger following his successful Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019). With rumors escalating among Marvel fans, social media is rife with speculation about the upcoming cast.
Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios have been tight-lipped on cast and story details, and with his previous track record of spoiling upcoming MCU movies, Tom Holland has been more cautious than ever to not spill the beans.
Spider-Man: NoWay Home will feature Benedict Cumberbatch in his fan-favorite role as Doctor Strange, alongside Zendaya (MJ), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds), Marisa Tomei (May Parker), and Jon Favreau (Harold “Happy Hogan), in a Multiversal series of events. The Multiverse was first seen in the MCU in the Disney+ series Lokistarring Tom Hiddleston, and most recently in What If…?.

The appearance of characters from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man and Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man franchises in the official trailer made fans believe that Peter Parker actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will be appearing alongside Tom Holland in No Way Home.
Now, it seems Feige has had enough of the continued leaks and spoilers, providing insight into his reaction when a certain photo emerged on social media from a member of the No Way Home cast.

And no, we’re not talking about Tom Holland this time! Back in October 2020, Jamie Foxx, who will reprise his role of Electro from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, posted a photo to his Instagram featuring Electro and three live-action Spider-Men.
The image caused quite the buzz among Marvel fans online, with many theorizing that this signaled the return of Maguire and Garfield.
In a recent interview with Cinema Blend, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was asked about his reaction to Foxx’s Instagram spoiler. Feige kept his response short:
“I’m numb to it now. I’m numb to anybody tweeting anything about anything. Politics, movies, Marvel, just numb.”

Although blunt, Feige’s response shows signs of exasperation and annoyance at the number of leaks related to the MCU.
Of course, Marvel’s head has had to deal with the mishaps of Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo in the last few years, including Ruffalo (The Hulk) spoiling the big twist ending of Avengers: Infinity War (2018) by saying “everybody dies.”
