When will Marvel’s Eternals (2021) be on Disney+? The latest big screen entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe premiered in theaters back on November 5. Now many fans are wondering how they can check out the ensemble epic from director Chloe Zhao at home.

When will Eternals be on Disney+?
According to Streaming Guider, Eternals will be available to Disney+ subscribers starting on January 12, 2022, at no additional charge. That means that subscribers can view Eternals beginning on that date without paying a Premier Access charge.
When Marvel’s long-delayed Black Widow (2021), starring Scarlett Johannson, was finally released this year, it had a simultaneous digital and theatrical release. That meant Marvel fans could either choose to pay for a seat to watch the film in a theater or pay the Disney+ Premier Access charge of $29.99 — on top of a Disney+ monthly subscription cost — to stream Black Widow at home or on any of their Disney+ enabled devices.

However, similar to Marvel’s September release of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021), Marvel premiered Eternals in theaters only and guaranteed theater chains a minimum 45-day exclusive theatrical window. With a Disney+ launch date of January 12, 2022, the Eternals exclusive theatrical window would top out at around 70 days total.
The third film of Marvel’s Phase Four, following Black Widow and Shang-Chi, precedes upcoming MCU releases Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022). Initially, the new superteam introduction has suffered from mixed reviews and a relatively disappointing box office. However, in the post-pandemic landscape, Eternals can claim one of the most significant theatrical launches of 2021 among the likes of F9: The Fast Saga (2021), James Bond’s latest appearance in No Time to Die (2021), the above mentioned Marvel Studios Phase Four films, and Venom (2018) sequel Let There Be Carnage (2021).
