While some enjoy the carnival-themed area of the Park, others feel that Dinoland, U.S.A. is long past its expiration date and is due for a retheme.
The recent demolition of the Primeval Whirl ride — which never reopened following Walt Disney World Resort’s four-month-long pandemic-related closure in 2020 — has led many Guests to speculate about what could be coming next to the Dinoland, U.S.A. area, whether it is another prehistoric carnival attraction or an entirely new IP, such as Raya and the Last Dragon (2021).

Although the permit is for “General Construction”, it is worth noting that the contractor listed on the order, Evans Services Group, offers “comprehensive remodeling solutions” for both residential and commercial projects.
