How long should you expect to wait to ride Toy Story Mania!?
Average wait times for Toy Story Midway Mania! vary depending on time of day, time of year, etc. If you are planning to visit the Disney Parks during the holiday season or summertime, expect higher than average wait times as the Parks as a whole are busier.
On average, Guests can wait anywhere from 20-minutes to 60-minutes for Toy Story Midway Mania!.
How can you spend your time in line for Toy Story Mania!?
Toy Story Mania!’s queue is filled with hidden gems and nostalgic items. As Guests walk through the line, they will notice a wide variety of older toy games including board games like Chutes and Ladders as well as Tinker Toys. When walking through the queue, see how many nostalgic games you can spot as a fun way to pass time.
In one part of the queue, there is also an Etch-a-Sketch that draws characters from Toy Story. Try and guess who the character is before the answer is revealed and keep score amongst your friends and family to see who wins!
How can you shorten wait times for Toy Story Mania!?
At Walt Disney World, and soon at Disneyland, Guests can utilize the Lightning Lane to bypass the standby queue, but it’ll cost you.
As previously announced, both FastPass+ at Walt Disney World and MaxPass at Disneyland have been retired and instead Lightning Lane debuted — a paid service.
In case you are not aware, Lightning Lane will be part of the new Disney Genie and Disney Genie+ service offered. Disney Genie+ will be a paid system that will charge Disney World Guests $15 per person per day to utilize the Lighting Line, which will be the old FastPass+ queue. Walt Disney World Guests will be able to pick one return time at a time for select attractions and skip the lines when their turn arrives.
In addition to Lightning Lane, Disney Genie will also have an option that allows Guests to purchase single experience passes for more “E-ticket” attractions such as Rise of the Resistance or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at an added cost. These rides will have their own cost, which will differ depending on the day and attraction. Please keep in mind that this option is not included in your Disney Genie+ purchase (if you decide to purchase that offering).

Age and height restrictions for Toy Story Mania!
At Walt Disney World, there are no age or height restrictions to ride Toy Story Mania!. At Disney California Adventure in Disneyland, there are no height restrictions for Toy Story Midway Mania, but Guests under seven must be accompanied by someone 14 or older.
