Walt Disney World is continuing to move forward and modify protocols as they operate amidst the ongoing pandemic. As more people become vaccinated, the theme parks are now allowing those vaccinated Guests to remove their face coverings in most places on property, including in queues, while aboard rides, and even when walking around the theme parks.
Additionally, Disney World is modifying the experiences offered at the theme parks, including the character cavalcades that debuted when the theme parks reopened in July 2020, as well as the socially distanced character meet and greets and opportunities.
Now, EPCOT is bringing Guests a new character meet and greet as they also modified one of their popular cavalcades.
Mulan, who used to appear in the Princess Processional around World Showcase, is now meeting Guests in the China Pavilion for socially distanced photos and conversations instead of in the cavalcade.
As you can see in the Instagram post below from Matthew (@ravendork13), Mulan is now appearing in the China Pavilion in World Showcase. This Disney fan did not hold back their excitement when they spotted the warrior princess in EPCOT:

Since reopening the theme parks in July, EPCOT has also ended the Anna and Elsa cavalcade, and instead, Guests can visit with the Arendelle royalty inside the Norway Pavilion.
Additionally, Mickey and friends used to ride along World Showcase waving to Guests from afar, but now, Mickey and Minnie can be spotted at the front of the theme park for socially distanced selfies.
