Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is an upcoming attraction in the France pavilion of the World Showcase at EPCOT, and will be filled with lots of family fun!

And it wasn’t long ago fans finally found out exactly when they can hop aboard a rat-shaped vehicle and scurry through the attraction. In case you missed it, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will officially debut on October 1, 2021 — the same day the Walt Disney World Resort 50th anniversary celebration begins!

If you are hoping to ride the EPCOT attraction on opening day, you may want to act fast and book your Disney Park Passes as they are already starting to fill up.

In fact, as we recently reported, Annual Passholders currently can no longer book a Disney Park Pass for EPCOT on October 1, 2021. You can also see this reflected in the screenshot we took below.

We do want to note that it is possible that Disney World could add more Park Pass availability if they decide to increase capacity by this time.

Although we don’t know yet when the next capacity increase will come, in a recent meeting, Bob Chapek, Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company, explained that the increase of capacity at the currently opened Disney Parks all depends on how quickly the public gets vaccinated for COVID-19. You can read more here.

We do have good news for some Guests! If you are wanting to visit on the opening day of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and you have regular theme park tickets, or you are a Disney Resort Guest, you can still book a Park Pass for EPCOT!

We highly suggest you plan ahead if you want to be at EPCOT for the opening day of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and grab a Disney Park Pass before they book up!

Keep in mind that securing a Park Pass does not mean you will necessarily be the first to ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Disney has not yet shared how the queue line will work for the upcoming attraction — Whether FastPass+ will return, a virtual queue process will be used, or if it will just be a standby line — So Guests should be prepared to wait in line for the ride if able to secure a Park Pass.

Always make sure to check the official Disney World Park Pass availability calendar for the most up-to-date information.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

In case you aren’t familiar, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will be a trackless 4D dark ride attraction, which is based on the 2007 Disney-Pixar animated film, Ratatouille. The new ride will shrink down riders to the size of a rat who will then have to scurry along with Chef Remy through Gusteau’s Restaurant in an adorable rat-shaped ride vehicle.

For the upcoming Ratatouille ride, Walt Disney Imagineering has partnered with Pixar to make sure what the Disney Imagineers are building is staying true to the story.

There is currently another Disney attraction called Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy, which opened at Walt Disney Studios at Disneyland Paris years ago. The new Disney World attraction is expected to be a close replica of the Disneyland Paris attraction.
