EPCOT is in the process of building an expansion to the World Showcase at the France pavilion. While the entire expansion is unavailable to Guests at this time, Disney recently opened up a walkway that will eventually lead to the courtyard which holds the new area,  including the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure ride. Currently, just the aforementioned walkway leading to a restroom is open for Guests, but the marquee for the attraction with a banner reading “open 2021” hangs above the entrance, so it has us very excited for the grand opening!

While the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction will be similar to the one found in Disneyland Paris, the new expansion to the France pavilion will also include a courtyard with a fountain dedicated to the movie Ratatouille and a new grab-and-go snack location in addition to the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction.

Here is a look at what Guests visiting EPCOT can currently see! Thanks to an Instagram post from Disney fan Guia de Trips Orlando we can clearly see the “Opening 2021” banner which has Guests excited for the new attraction!

Here is another photo that was shared on Instagram showing the pathway from the other angle. It truly is a long path, and the courtyard containing the expansion will be quietly tucked away in the World Showcase.

Thanks to Brianna, a Disney Guest who visited EPCOT, for sharing this great photo!

We cannot wait to see the rest of the expansion to the France pavilion open and take this as a sign that Disney could give us an opening date soon, although nothing has been confirmed yet!
