How EPCOT's 'Ratatouille' Attraction Will Differ From Disneyland Paris - Inside the Magic

During today’s D23 presentation called, EPCOT- The Magic of Possibility, we got many exciting details of all the projects going on at EPCOT!

As we know EPCOT is undergoing a complete transformation as part of Project Gamma and more! Even though some plans have had to be altered due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic we are excited for what is to come!

During this presentation which you can watch in full here (highly recommend!) Disney shared more details on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure which is being built in EPCOT at the France Pavilion, and how it differs from its Disneyland Paris counterpart.

While both attractions are similar, the exterior leading up to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at World Showcase in EPCOT is completely different! Imagineers said when you walk towards the Remy attraction in EPCOT it will feel like you are “discovering” it. Explaining that the setting is not supposed to feel like authentic Paris, but rather “a love letter to Paris”.

Here is a photo of the concept art for the new area that is being added to help incorporate the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction into the France Pavilion at the World Showcase in EPCOT.

The marquee is completely unique in the EPCOT version of the attraction, and it looks stunning!

Alongside the details for this new attraction, we learned so much about the exciting offerings coming to EPCOT!

Disney has announced that we will get a NEW water show in the World Showcase Lagoon! In addition to this, we also found out that Spaceship Earth will be receiving some enhanced lighting effects. 

We know that the lighting effects are not as thrilling as the previous announcements for the refurbishment that was going to take place inside Spaceship Earth, we are still glad that despite the delays of that overhaul fans of the attraction will see new life breathed into it.
