What Disney World’s Coffee is Like
Fanatic Disney Guests now refer to Joffrey’s Speciality Coffee as “Disney coffee.” The Disney official specialty coffee supplier packs K-cups and Cuisinart pods into many Disney Resort Hotel rooms, as well as offering coffee for purchase in various Disney Park shops and offering retail coffee stands around the Resort. The specific dark roast (Joffrey’s Artisan Blend or French Roast) used at the parks offers many Guests a look back into their magical vacation, and they often seek it out as a way to revisit those memories.
But Joffrey’s is not the only coffee supplier peddling magical beans at the Orlando Resort. You can find the widely-favored Starbucks lattes, coffees, and Frappuccinos at all four Disney World theme parks, as well as Disney Springs. Blond roasts, dark roasts, and specialty blends are available just like they are where you live. If you are a collector of the iconic Starbucks “You Are Here” or “Been There” mugs, then you can find the exclusive Walt Disney World Parks mugs — collect all four and then visit Disneyland Resort for that set!

Prices for coffee at Walt Disney World have a wide range. A simple cup of straight brewed coffee can be as inexpensive as $2.99, while a Starbucks Venti latte or Trenta iced coffee, for example, can set you back upwards of $8.00 with upgrades and such.
And, multiple upgrade options there are! Seasonal flavors take over tabletops a few times a year and every true Disney coffee lover will rush to try them. Typical iced coffee and dark roasts top the typical orders, but baristas can make just about any coffee drink you’re after. Isn’t coffee better with a little pixie dust?
Where to Find Coffee Served at Disney World
To the delight of caffeinated creatures everywhere, coffee at Disney is widely available. Waking up at your Disney World Resort hotel will find you with not only a coffee maker in your room, but large cups of coffee available in the Resort’s food court or at various coffee stands in Resort lobbies. For instance, we love the Kona Cafe stand in the lobby of Disney’s Polynesian Resort!
Of course, in each Walt Disney World Dining establishment, you’ll find cups of good coffee listed on the menu. We love a special Disney World coffee before we tackle a morning attraction!
Upon visiting the Disney theme parks, you’ll find either a Starbucks location or Joffrey’s coffee kiosks in various places. Each park contains a unique Starbucks storefront, blended into the theming of the surrounding shops, so if you don’t see it right away, ask a friendly Cast Member to point the way. Or…. just follow your nose. Walking past those roasting beans certainly tells you which way to go! The Starbucks shops are typically near the park entrance or “city center,” while the Joffrey’s carts and delicious coffee stands are located in various lands. Our favorite is the Magic Kingdom Tomorrowland Joffrey’s coffee stand near Space Mountain. This is the only place you can purchase “Mission to S’mores Latte!” either as a hot coffee or a chilled drink.

When you visit Disney Springs, there’s a large flagship Starbucks near the Westside Marketplace. It’s a great spot to grab your Frappuccino and browse the World of Disney, the Resort’s largest Disney store. Maybe pick up a few collectible coffee mugs to display at home and remind you of your favorite Disney World coffee!
If a Disney fan purchases a refillable mug with the Disney Dining Plan (currently unavailable amid the ongoing pandemic) or a la carte at your Resort hotel, they can refill it with not only water, tea, and hot chocolate at the drink stations, but also coffee! The insulated drinkware will not only be a souvenir from your recent vacation, but also a constant companion filled to the brim! Refill the mug constantly at Disney Resorts.
Lastly, Joffrey’s has an amazing tool to help you locate the closest Disney coffee to you! All of their coffee kiosks are marked on their website app. Locations like the Ticket and Transportation Center or the donuts cart at Typhoon Lagoon are well mapped for you to get your iced latte fix!
Coffeemakers at Disney Resort Hotels
Guests ask the planDisney team (formerly known as the Disney Parks Moms Panel) every day about the coffee makers at the Resort Hotels. There are only two types of coffee makers available in each room… and a set of Resorts completely without them! Cuisinart pod brewers are the most common regular coffee brewer found in the rooms, but the coveted Keurig K-cup brewers are catching up in Deluxe Resorts as refurbishments and new construction continue.

An answer supplied by the panel comprehensively covers each of the Resorts and the coffee makers found in each of them. If you are a Disney Guest wanting to bring your own roast from home, you’ll need to come prepared. Check the answer below for more information on each Disney Resort.
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel [now planDisney!], Linda! I’m sipping on my own cuppa joe as I research the answer to your question. When I’m making a resort reservation I always want to know which kinds of coffee makers are available in my room, too!
It turns out, the K-cup style Keurig brewers are a guest favorite, so more Walt Disney World Resort Hotels are adding them. After a bit of field research and phone calls, I was able to secure a shortlist of guaranteed Keurig-style brewing Resorts. Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter and Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort will offer these coffee makers in the refurbished rooms. All of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa standard rooms, all of Disney’s Contemporary Resort standard rooms as well as the Club Levels of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney’s Boardwalk Inn offer the Keurig style machines. As a general rule, villas will offer a full coffee pot and studio rooms will offer the Cuisinart flat pod-style two cup brewer. The All-Star Value Resorts will not offer a coffee machine of any kind, with the exception the family suites at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. Pop Century and the Art of Animation offer the Cuisinart Pod style. At this time, all other Moderate, Deluxe and DVC resorts currently offer the 2 cup flat pod Cuisinart style machine.
I hope that you feel caffeinated and refreshed after getting a feel for the coffee makers in each Walt Disney World Resort room. If you are staying in a room with a brewer, you’ll be treated to my favorite Joffrey’s coffees and Twinings teas. It’s not a vacation for me unless I’m sipping this quality brew with a Disney cup! If I can help you with other vacation planning, please let me know. For now, chEARS to morning coffee! ~ Lindsey P.
