Walt Disney World is filled with delicious treats guaranteed to satisfy that sweet tooth — from the classic churro to a refreshing Dole Whip to the iconic Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich, Disney World has so many different options to choose from while on vacation.
But what if you wanted to take the extra step and get something that isn’t offered on any Disney menu?
Well, we have a fun and unique Disney dessert “hack” courtesy of Disney for Foodies on Instagram that allows you to do just that — Create your very own dessert that isn’t on any Disney menu!
The Instagram account @disneyforfoodies shared a fun way to create your very own dessert while visiting the France pavilion in EPCOT. They write:
You know I love food hacks!! And I have a new one for you today!!
This is a Beignet Ice Cream Sandwich, super easy to attempt and trust me you will want to come back for more!!
Get a Beignet at Les Halles Boulangerie Pattisserie, which is filled with Nutella btw
Then head to L’Artisan des Glaces and get your favorite Ice Cream flavor. Cut your beignet in half, fill with the ice cream, you can ask for extra sauce and… heavenly bite… you’re welcome!
L’Artisan des Glaces and Les Halles Boulangerie, France Pavilion in Epcot $4.50 Beignet and $5 ice cream scoop.

Now, if you aren’t a fan of beignets or if you didn’t want to go the extra mile to create your own dessert, but still wanted something similarly sweet, be sure to check out the brioche ice cream sandwich — called the Croque Glacé — at L’Artisan des Glaces located inside the France pavilion. This item features a single scoop of ice cream with your choice of sauce in a homemade brioche bun — pressed warm!
In case you have never been, Disney World describes L’Artisan des Glaces as:
Seduce your sweet tooth, indulge your cravings and give in to your innermost desires with a tantalizing stop at this artisanal French shop. Here you’ll find a flavorful variety of handcrafted frozen treats, including ice cream and sorbet.
