Since spring, Cinderella Castle has been undergoing its “Royal Makeover” in preparation for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration next year. In this latest picture, it appears the new paint job is nearly complete. The base boasts a darker gray, the spires a deeper, bolder coat of blue, and the upper section is now covered in gold and rose pink.

The Magic Kingdom will host two days of Annual Passholder previews on July 9, and July 10, before reopening to Guests on July 11. All three days are currently full. When those Guests arrive, they will be greeted with a Cinderella Castle much bolder and pinker than they remember.
