Cinderella (1950) was one of the first Disney Princess movies created by Walt Disney Animation Studios. Based on a centuries-old folktale called “The Little Glass Slipper,” the rags-to-riches story has inspired multiple live-action films since the original animation.

“Share the magic as kind and hardworking Cinderella is rewarded with an enchanted evening at the Royal Ball. It just takes the help of her loyal animal friends Jaq and Gus, a wave of her Fairy Godmother’s wand and some ‘Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo.’ Celebrate the legacy of Disney’s classic animation in Cinderella, where dreams really do come true!”

“We’re teaching Spanish,” the guest began.

“Oh, sure!” Cinderella responded excitedly.

“Do you know any words?” the guest asked.

“I know a few words,” she replied. “I know how to say blue, which is ‘azul,’ right? And then I think dress is ‘vestido?’ And then shoes is ‘zapatos?’ That’s all I know!”

“There you go!” the guest said. “You can say, ‘Hola, soy Cinderella!’”

Cinderella repeated the phrase back to him and thanked the guest for stopping by.

“Thank you for your lessons,” she said. “I’ve been meaning to practice more. I want to teach my little mice, too. I think Gus would be so darling!”

The guest then taught Cinderella how to ask to take a photo with someone before they departed: “¿Podemos tomar una foto?”

“I’ll keep practicing,” she promised.

Commenters loved the creative meet & greet with Cinderella.

“This is so wholesome,” said @michellehusslein.

Always ask Disney character performers’ permission before teaching them another language or encouraging them to participate in an activity. Though entertainment cast members are there to bring the magic to life, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort have strict rules about what characters can and can’t do.
