A high-speed roller coaster left dozens of guests stranded in mid-air before eventually being evacuated by theme park personnel.

Experiencing a high-speed roller coaster for the first time is probably one of the most exciting experiences a guest could have at their favorite theme park. However, while having an accident is the last thing on their minds, it is always possible to end the day on an unfortunate note.

Unfortunately, dozens of guests ended up stuck in mid-air while riding Hyperia at Thorpe Park in the United Kingdom, prompting the theme park’s quick response to evacuate the extreme attraction.

Sadly, we have recently seen many sudden closures and unpleasant accidents at theme parks worldwide.

Inside the Magic recently reported on a guest suffering a grotesque accident at Cedar Point. The incident forced a temporary closure at Raptor, one of the amusement park’s most thrilling attractions, while the employees worked hard to resolve the incident as quickly as possible.

Similarly, a guest recently posted a video at Six Flags Great America that sickened viewers after finding out that a guest had relieved themselves while riding X Flight, a high-speed, high-thrill roller coaster at the amusement park.

Guests have also reported multiple breakdowns at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, ahead of the permanent closure of one of the amusement park’s historical attractions.
